Well worth the money came a lot bigger than expected

my venus flytrap arrived in bad condition, the traps had been triggered and it looked nothing like the image, it was small and ill. btw i have so many plants so i know what im doing, i gave it a proper pot, carnivorous soil, proper feeding and watering, yet it still died, not good..

I have always been fascinated by these plants, however know very little about caring for them. All I can say at the moment is that the plant is still alive. When I read up about them, it said that the plant would be in a dormant phase throughout the winter months, so other than the ocassional spray of water, I left it alone near the window. However when I look, it appears to be spurting long upward tendrils; is it telling me something? No fly around at the moment, sorry. The flycatching buds appear to have disappeared, perhaps under the compost, but I haven't dared to put my finger near it, just in case!My grandchildren were fascinated when I got it, and now keep asking me where the fly trapping jaws have gone; so I am hoping when the sun finally comes out, and fly are in abundance, it will resume its original look. It did arrive looking very healthy; but not as good now, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Item arrived almost dead and I havnt managed to recive it it turned black within a week

I was a little disappointed with the packaging as the courier destroyed it.But the plant was strong and sturdy

For 19.99 I expected to be a bit larger plant on arrival I had to take a few brown leaves off but very small for the money.

My plant arrived safe and sound and looking great. The outer package was made for the purpose, clearly marked “Living Plant” and this way up, so the usually ham fisted couriers actually took care of it. Inside the plant was packed into a purpose made container which kept the plant and the soil separate and safeThe fly trap itself is , healthy, colourful and vibrant, a good size with many traps. We’re looking forward to it capturing some flies in the kitchen for us.This was a replacement for one bought from another Amazon vendor which wasn’t packed nearly as well is this.Bottom line is am chuffed and I highly recommended this vendor
