Last Chance Lake (Last Chance Ranch Romance Book 5)

Cache and Karla are an interesting couple. Karla has a past she needs to put away instead of holding on to it as a shield to being happy. Cache has a couple of triggers that can set him off and that is part of the reason he hired on to Last Chance instead of going to Texas with his dad and brother. I enjoyed watching these two work through their problems and finally acknowledging they love each other and belong together. I am loving the people who make up the ranch family and if I could live there I think I would.

Cache and Karla, they keep circling each other. Finally they have a date, but Karla wants to keep their relationship a secret.. How will that work out? Get this book 📖 and learn all the secrets about both of them. A Very intense, love story. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.

This was a very different novel than the previous ones in this series. Basically it was an overlap to the previous book but this time focusing on Karla and Cache while the background focuses and ends with Sissy and Dave's wedding. At first I was a bit confused until I realized what the author was doing and how this novel did juxtapose with the previous one. I loved these two characters and how they complemented one another. I am interested in what the author has planned for the next novel in this series. Rating: 4.7 ✳✳✳✳✳

I especially liked that this was a Christian love story. The last chance ranch is not an ordinary animal rescue. They not only rescue and adopt out rescue pets, but they have all kinds of interesting attractions like cow cuddling and goat yoga. Cache not only works on the ranch, but he plays in a cowboy band with other cowboys from the ranch. Liz keeps your interest throughout the whole book. Really enjoyed the book.

I don't even know where to begin. I enjoyed this story, it gives you all the right feels. I laughed out loud a few times. Cache is a man who loves his cows, Karla is a woman who has been broken by the past. To find this love is grand. I now want to cuddle a cow in a tutu..

Karla liked to cook for all the men at the ranch. That was how she showed her love. She did not use words to express herself. Cache was one of the workers at the ranch. He had a great idea that couples could cuddle with a cow. Karla helped Cache in getting the new program started. Cow Cuddling was very successful. Cache and Karla needed to let go of their pasts to have romance.

What an enjoyable reading experience. I know that technically a book has a specific, let's say "boiler plate", format. I don't know how she does it but this author never fails to draw me in, fall in love with the characters and keep the pages turning with laughter and sometimes a tear or two. To me, that's best kind of book there is!

Sorry, I only read about half of the book. I became bored,fell asleep, took a nap, and upon awakening decided to read no more

Love these old style stories

Cache a cowboy and Karla have a lot to work through both have had a bad start especially Karla with her ex husband and loss of her baby, Cache with his gambling history. Both needed to work together and open up with each other before they get their HEA
