I have had this gauge for a little over a year now and it has been working great no problems and i am planning on getting another one soom. All the people having problems i do not understand i have used Milton products for almost 20 years no problems yes couplers wear out yes products die and quit working what product does not. And if you buy from and individual seller it is called buyer beware some stuff you always buy directly from Amazon and this is one of the products.

I had high expectations for “made in USA” Milton tire gauge but found that the quality control is terrible. Apparently there is no function check or final assembly inspection... The o-ring seal was pinched out on the gauge adapter connection to the valve body (photo). I had to take gauge adapter off and put thread seal on threads because this o-ring is popping out.The valve is leaking under the paddle. Pulled the valve out and found the upper seal is split. See photo. Luckily I was able to find a “stock” o-ring that fit and stopped the leak.The gauge powered up but not showing any pressure, I assume it’s due to the leak blowing out from the valve. The gauge started reading after I fixed the split o-ring.Very disappointed that I trusted the Milton name and thought I was getting a good gauge out of the box. I have to agree with the other reviews about this gauge leaking internally. If you get one, I hope yours is good from the box and doesn’t need repairs like mine... frustrating!!

Added one of these at the shop. Gets the reversed stem on a dually with no issue.

The digital pressure gauge appeared to be fairly accurate. However, it leaked so much air after depressing the fill paddle that little to no air would actually go into the tires. I couldn't wait for a replacement and had to find a solution locally on the following day. Either quality control with this unit is a problem, or I was just unlucky and received a defective unit. Kind of a drag as I really wanted to love it.

I figured it out that it would not leak if i pulled the inflater head away from the valve body. I fixed it by wrapping a thin solid core wire around the gap between the swivel and the rubber hose. The is no more leaking air.

I haven’t used it much yet. I bought it because we live in the country and wind up putting air in all shapes and sizes of tires and I discover my others $30 dollar inflator had accuracy issues.My biggest complaint is the function of the back light. It doesn’t stay on vary long. It seems like they should program it to stay on longer to really make that feature more handy.Otherwise this inflator is well built and accurate.

I have purchased some other Milton products and have not been very impressed. I was hesitant to buy this. I am happy to report that this gauge works very well. The digital gauge seems very accurate and repeatable. The overall design is very useful.
