If i could have given this 100 stars I would have. I bought this at Lowes and it was on sale AND $10.00 cheaper for the combo than just buying the trimmer. It was on sale for $129.00 orig. $179. for just trimmer, battery & charger. I also take care of my parents property so when i saw the sale price and not many combo boxes I bought 3 of the combo's just in case there was 1 of them possibly defective. I decided to keep ALL 3 BOXES, because I was so impressed!i wanted 2 trimmers so both my husband and i could save time on our 1/2 acre and trim together to spend more time in the pool. i am going to be 60 this year, my parents 84 & 87. i wanted something fast and lightweight. May I just say, this is not my first rodeo, i have had all kinds of tools. Gas, electric as well as battery operated string trimmers, hedge clippers, Rototillers, lawnmowers, chainsaws & edgers. I am a farm girl used to working around machinery, taught SAFETY FIRST! This trimmer & blower is so wonderful it will blow your socks off! It has a long trim time, charges rather quickley after the first time charging. It's lightweight enough that even my 84 year old mom who still mows her acre and half lawn can run this with ease. It's like a super mario magic trick how easily the string comes out with ease as you tap it! The consistancy of all 3 combo boxes, they all work as they are susposed to, no bait and switch here folks, what you see is what you get and more! ALL TOOLS SHOULD WORK THIS EASILY. I believe that this takes 2 different size strings, which is what really turned my head like looking at a fine horse. string sizes 0.08-inch & 0.065-InchHappy gardening folks!

Great upgrade from Black n Decker 20v system
Weed Eater:Great power & battery life. Feels solid and durable.Blower:Moves lots of air for a cordless. Great for grass, leafs, light brush, and dirt/fur off the patio or out of the garageBattery:4 amp hour battery!Charger:Quick charger included! BnD gives you a slow charger. Whomp Whomp.Bought this at $130 which is a great price for a combo kit. 1 battery charge is more than enough for my .2 acre yard.

Frustrated
I just bought this Kobalt 2-Piece 24-volt Cordless Power Equipment Combo Kit for Father's Day, and one of the charges does not work. Seller asks the buyer to pay for the return shipping on a product that does not work. Better off purchasing the item in a store.

A gift for my Son in law. He was thrilled. He opened the box to inspect all pieces were assembled and easy to interchange. Wish I purchased one for me! Highly recommend.
