I was expecting jalapeno level heat when I bought these. I was shredding a couple and tossing them in my eggs and on pizza and wondering why my stomach was hurting so bad afterwards. These peppers are quite a bit hotter than jalapenos, so beware. They're pretty tasty though!

Unlike some chili peppers these have a certain character, not just heat for heats sake.Separate the husk from seed and you can control heat to flavor. More seeds means more heat.All the peppers seemed very fresh, husks had that desired supple leathery texture, you can tell seeds and pith have that oily it’s s going to make you cry if you over do it aroma.
