I've been using Softlines leash for the last 3 years. Those leashes come in 4 feet, and I loved them because the 2nd handle is in the perfect place. The only problem I had with it was the leashes kept shrinking every time I washed them. Now they're little over 2 feet, which isn't working very well. So I decided to give this product a try. It's 6 feet, which is nice, and very sturdy. Love the padding on the handles, love the fact the threads reflect at night. The color is great too. The only reason I gave 4 stars is, like someone said, the 2nd handle is 1 foot from the hook, which gives my dog too much leash for my height. My dog is already walking ahead of me. I would say 3/4 of a foot would do a perfect job for my height and my dog. But you can't custom make each leash, so I'll just have to live with it.

I bought a harness for my dog, Paris, and was using her old lead but decided I wanted a lead to match her harness. The manufacturer of her harness wanted considerably more money for a lead than did Dogsays! So on line looking I went. Found this lead and bought it because it matched her harness and was a good price. I bought the 1" wide lead.This is a great lead! You can see by the pix it is better than my dog Race's lead. The handle is smaller than Race's but it is the average size and fits well over my hand to lay on my wrist and lead goes down my hand, the traffic loop is higher up the lead which means I don't bend over (I'm only 5'7") when using it to walk her through the aisles at Home Depot.The double thickness assures me she will not break her lead when lunging after a rabbit on the running trail! LOL! Paris is 25% American Staff Terrier so her rear legs are VERY strong!It washes nicely. I would recommend this lead to anyone!

Good leash but check the clip. I have ordered two of these. One is great but the other the clip has come undone while I was walking the dog twice now and he’s gotten off leash. Fortunately he’s fairly well trained and came right back home after a very short little run. Needless to say I won’t be using that leash again. The first time I thought it was a fluke the second time I think the Leash is now trash

What's to say,its a leash. Leash seems sturdy and has held up with both a rottweiler and doberman. The leash seems well built and durable.The loop handle nearest the latch is a good fit and length for larger dogs. I think if you had a small or toy size dog, it would not allow the dog to touch the ground and you would just be hanging the poor pup. I'm happy with it and would order again.

I would buy this leash again. It is easy to use with my 50lb pup, and should last into her adulthood. The handles are soft and the secondary "traffic" handle is convenient instead of just pulling the long traditional handle. I use this for general walks with my pup, and also for training her to heal. The D ring located near the top handle is diverse. I have clipped the "poop bags" when we leave the house, and also to clip another leash onto to tie her to a picnic table. Great choice for a leash.

I love the double handled leashes, for when you are out walking and you get into a more congested area. Unfortunately, it is a few inches too long. Which for some people, like my husband who is taller, it works great for...but I am 5'2" and don't need the extra length when I short leash my dog...so I end up choking up on the leash anyways. The padding on the handles is great and I absolutely love that feature...Also, I like the overall look of the leash as well

The leash is nice and thick, good stitching, however the “padded” area isn’t that padded. The reflective part of it isn’t crazy reflective but it’s subtle enough to notice. Good leash for the price, the leash doesn’t stretch which is good in my opinion because I didn’t want a stretchy leash. It is convenient that it has a traffic leash along with it

I LOVE this leash! I'm in a wheelchair and I was looking for a good leash that I could attach to the side of my chair for my puppy that I'm training. He has learned to walk so well on it and I like that it gives him a little more stretch to do his sniffing and checking everything out on our walks. It's the 2nd one that I have purchased and I highly recommend for anyone in a wheelchair or for runners who want their hands free while Fido walks/runs next to them. It is very well made and versatile.

This is great for a big strong dogs! We got them so we can hold the top strap for letting them roam a bit further and sniff a little, and the short strap when in crowds / wanting to keep them close around strange dogs. It works perfectly for that. The loops are a good size and nicely padded, and it’s even handy for letting a 2 year old hold one of the loops while retaining control / backup. Highly recommend.

Love this lead. The padded handles are great and the second handle is fantastic for when I’m training my dogs.I have two of these leads for my dogs and would definitely buy them again.
