AWESOME! Let me first state that I owned every expansion other than the characters expansions already. BUT I wanted this set, 1. For the characters expansion and 2. Because I really like the card board cards rather than the flimsy paper ones. This one gives you ALL the cards in the sturdy card board style and I love that. PLUS instead of the stickers you got in the individual New Moon expansion, you get actual cards specific for those characters! That was a big bonus. I love the new rules manual because it lays out everything in detail in one handy dandy location and I don't have to flip through all the separate books that I had. So obviously I purchased this for convince.For those of you wanting to try this game for the first time, THIS is the box to purchase. All the characters can be overwhelming to learn. I suggest to play with a select few favorites first and then gradually add new ones in. Keep in mind that you will need at least 8 people to play this game. If you have a small group of friends, it isn't the best. For a large group/party it is awesome! it has been a HUGE hit. Our group ranges from 22-30 year olds. And we typically have 10 + when we play. A lot of our groups tend to pull out phones and get distracted when we play other games, this one has everyone's FULL attention. And it is constantly requested! We set up games nights specifically for this game, that is how serious we are. Each game only takes 20-30 minutes (depending on the amount of people). So it is great to provide brief entertainment if needed. We play multiple games in one night all the time and it constantly changes with each game.As a summary, this is an elimination style game. Each person receives a secret identity in which you will basically be either good or evil (Townsfolk or Wolf). Players are eliminated secretly in various day/night phases and the "town" try to figure out who is good and who is evil. I am not going to go into detail on how to play. The rule manual will tell you that and there is also google. But as long as you understand that this is an elimination and bluffing game and you are ok with that, I suggest to give this a shot with your group! It is important to note that a moderator is necessary, someone who knows ALL the rules, is NOT playing (usually), can "Set the mood/be creative" and can be a "Game Master". Personally I usually play moderator. I enjoy that more than playing because it's cool to see all the interactions take place. So make sure to have a friend willing to not play and just simply moderate the game!We love it and I am sure you will to!!

This is one of the best, if not the best, Werewolf game. It includes all the rules, which are simple to follow, and good cardboard cards, which are better in my opinion than the flimsy paper/plastic ones of any other game. This makes the cards really durable. I've had my game for over three years now and I can definitely say that it is still in good condition with the amount it has been played. You can play up to 40 + people, which is great. I love that all the expansions are included in here, and the fact that everything is in such good condition. You will definitely enjoy it if you are looking for a werewolf game that has a lot of variety.

I had the original werewolves of millers hollow (plus countless other versions), but this was an incredible buy. It has so many different roles, rules, and ideas it was great for our summer party. What stood out the most was the quality of the cards. They are thick cardboard and will not easily bend or tear as the cards sometimes do during the game play. Even if you have just the base set, I would consider this as well.

My children and their friends love this game. Very well designed and allows for a lot of kids to play at the same time. Great for their imagination and has incredible replay value. When the rule book said that up to 47 people could play I thought it was a typo but after reading through the manual I see that is actually true. You have to have a VERY good moderator though if you want to have 47 people play since it requires the moderator to understand thoroughly the abilities of each character. The good thing is that you can play the basic version of the game if you wish with the incremental expansions that come as part of this set depending on how many people you have to participate and how complicated you with to make a particular game.

We have only played with the basic components, and we have already had over $50 worth of fun! A great party game for 9 or more people, and we were able to include children as young as 8! I watched a couple YouTube videos to ensure I had the freedom to choose whichever characters I wanted to use regardless of the number of people playing; balancing the werewolves and the villagers becomes obvious quickly. We started with just 4 basic werewolves, 2 simple villagers, the villager/villager, the witch, the seer, and the hunter, then kept adding characters as we went along. It helped to have two people work as a narrator team covering different halves of the table. We haven't even touched over half of the game pieces (up to 47 people can play at a time...I can't imagine what that game would look like), and everyone loved it!

The base game is great but the add ons are extremely complicated!

I've adored this game for years and while one could argue this game could be easily done with regular playing cards, there is a certain level of novelty with the actual set! Everything came as promised with durable cards that remind me of drink coasters, easy-to-follow instruction guides, and new characters I had never heard of before!

Bought this for a huge party with over 20 people, and I'm SUPER glad I got this version! Whenever we have game nights, people always want to participate but most games cap at 4-8 people, so it was nice to include everyone. The art is beautiful, the quality of the pieces is amazing, and its just a fun, great game overall. The first time I played werewolf was just the basic version, but this one has tons of fun roles that people were really surprised about. It added a LOT of variation and hijinks to the overall way the game was played :) Highly recommended!
