CyberPower RB1270X2C UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/7Ah

I have UPS units all throughout my home, but specifically a Cyberpower "tower-type" UPS unit for my home office. A couple of months ago, I noticed that when I went to use the desktop PC, it was turned off (which I usually leave the computer on 24/7). When I performed a "cycle test" of the UPS unit, the computer and all other attached devices shutdown immediately with no warning. I Googled this symptom and found that the batteries had reached their end of life use. I was pleased, however, to find out that the batteries themselves can be changed out saving me from buying an entirely new UPS device.I compared the prices on Amazon to those on Cyberpower's website and found a huge difference in price. So, I ordered these replacements which arrived very quickly. The batteries came with an instruction guide for the various models of Cyberpower UPS units. I had the old batteries removed and the new ones in place in less than 10 minutes. I was also pleased that they had a partial charge (over 50%) right out of the shipping box.I connected everything back to the UPS unit and gave it time to recharge to 100% and performed a system test which passed with flying colors.I highly recommend these batteries if they are appropriate for your model of UPS unit. Be sure to properly recycle the old batteries (PLEASE) as they can pollute landfills and leach into ground water.

We have been using Cyberpower UPS products in our home for several years. We tried other brand batteries as they needed replacement and they either failed within a year OR the UPS would report error or failure with them on and off. We returned to only using the brand batteries, CyberPower and had no more problems. They last MUCH longer than off brands as well. I won’t stop using them. Yes they cost a little more, but when dealing with electrical devices safety of my home, devices and family are more important than the cost of the battery.

Got a few of these to replace the old batteries in a couple of my CP units (the ones sold at Costco). Cheaper, but not my much, than getting a new unit at Costco. Easy to install. Only hassle is to get rid of the old batteries in an environmentally safe way.

The cables are very hard to disconnect from the batteries. Difficult putting them on new batteries as well, but not as much. Once everything is connected, easy to slide both batteries back into the case. Works like a charm.

I got this battery pack to replace failed battery in my Cyberpower unit that I got at Costco a couple of years ago. The batteries that arrived in OEM Cyberpower box (which was inside Amazon's own box) are nothing more than generic 1270 batteries made by one of the billions of generic manufactuers, Cyberpower does not make their own batteries, they just find cheapest suppliers of 1270 and put a sticker on them with their brand. The original brand (which is printed by manufacturer on battery casing itself) is not even the same that was the brand of "stock" batteries that originally came with UPS. So don't be like me and waste so much money - find a reliable manufacturer of any 1270 battery and buy a couple of them, it will cost you 2x less than buying same battery with Cyberpower's paper sticker slapped on the side of the battery.

The power supply in my home I've had for some time, the batteries died, don't throw your unit away read the code call service they tell you what to do, if I could figure out out so can you it was simple easy and efficient process.
