Exact fit and very inexpensive

It fit perfectly. Seems like a nice solid piece of plastic. Takes a few seconds to install.

We have a 2003 New Beetle Convertible. This part of the car, IMO, is terribly engineered, however the replacement is easy. Last time this part failed I purchased an OEM tube and everything fit perfectly. This time I tried this "budget" tube and although it appears to install perfectly, the top of the tube will not fit the OEM dipstick! With much force I made the OEM dipstick push down and snap into place but when I tried to retrieve it the entire tube pulled out. I had to take the OEM dipstick and grind the tabs down and even then it was not easy to press the dipstick into place, and, of course, with the little tabs ground down the dipstick does not snap into it's place. It is tight enough that I do not think it will be a problem, but this tube is not properly sized for this 2003 OEM dipstick. I recommend another brand, or better, a genuine OEM tube.

Failed smog because my brittle factory dipstick tube had shattered which (apparently) let air in, throwing off my air sensor. Replaced it with this in minutes and it passed smog. The install was simple, but there's a youtube video if interested, just google "How to Change the Oil Dipstick Tube on a Volkswagen Jetta".

The only complain I have is that the color of the tube is not yellow as expected.. more like orange and does seems off from the dipstick top
