I recently purchased this jasmine rice from Amazon, expecting the unique fragrance and texture that this variety is known for. Unfortunately, the product fell short of expectations. The most notable issue was the complete absence of the characteristic floral aroma, which is a defining trait of jasmine rice. This lack of scent was a significant letdown. Additionally, the texture of the rice did not align with the typical qualities of jasmine rice. Instead of being fluffy and slightly sticky, it cooked up inconsistently, alternating between being too mushy and too hard. Despite the grains being intact and not broken, they failed to deliver the expected culinary experience.
