Great upgrade for little spent
I have a 2009 Shadow Spirit VT750C2(shaft drive model) and the levers fit perfectly. You can knock-out the levers swap if you have a medium length semi-wide-blade flat head screw driver, 10mm wrench and you have a very basic knowledge of tools. Took me about 7 minutes for both. The only possible issue is the clutch cable and how that all fits together. Watch how it comes apart, and you'll see how to put it together.Wow, huge difference in feel. The new levers were the same length as the factory. They do look alot better than the OEM, but chrome doesn't really turn me on. What matters is the feel of the levers and the extra width of the levers feels good. This is a great upgrade that doesn't cost too much and really improves control of the levers, especially the clutch lever. The chroming isn't great, I can understand why someone said something about it peeling soon after installing. I had to clean out the clutch cable channel with my pocket knife, there was some rough chrome flashing left inside. The surface of both levers have some tiny weak/rough spots in the chroming that could turn into issues later in its life, we'll see. I do expect much better from Kurakyn, but at least it isn't just another chromed plastic stick-on part that serves no real purpose.

I like the easy reach.
I just installed these on 1/9/16 Ive read the reviews this is the second pair i bought didn't have any problems with the first pair they were on a Honda shadow 1995 Vt 1100 cc had them on for 2 years that's why i bought these they did seem to scratch easy but what chrome today doesn't the chroming processes isn't what it used to be if these are peeling maybe there not really chrome. But chrome spray paint that's why there chipping or scratching easily all i know is that these are comfortably you don't have to stretch your fingers out like you do with the.e.m. they are polished aluminum under neath the chrome if you don't feel like spending the money on these there is another product on amazon for only 18.00 and some change

Kuryakyn Wide Style Levers
This levers are great and are quite comfortable. I like these levers and they look excellent. They feel sturdy and not cheap like some of the "white metal" ones you can get....that being said...This is actually my second set of these. I have bought Kuryakyn for quite a bit of my chrome needs for my 2004 Sabre and have always been impressed with them. However, the last set I had, the chrome started to flake and come off. It looked terrible. I contacted the company and they said they would give me a discount on a new set and free shipping. I thought they could've done better to stand behind their product, but no company really does anymore, so I reluctantly agreed. They didn't even reply to my email - so, I had to come here and buy more.So - Levers 5 stars. Company quality control and customer service. Not even one star. But, that's like everywhere nowadays - no shock there.

They look and fit great
These levers took me about 3 minutes to install on my 2010 Honda fury. They look awesome but they seem to be about an inch shorter than my stock levers. This isn't a huge deal but it makes me have to reach for the lever and in the city my hand starts to cramp up quick. Also when holding in the clutch my pinky finger is right on the ball on the levers end. So, I either have to wrap my pinky around the ball or squeeze my had up the grip and then deal with the ball squeezing against my knuckle. Either way is a bit uncomfortable. I don't regret my purchase because the levers are nice, and I'm sure they would be just right for other riders, but I will eventually change them out to a longer style.

Good buy
Installed these on my 12 Honda Fury, good price, thickness, comfort is perfect, the only draw back was I needed to notch out the grove for the neutral safety switch on the clutch lever, that’s why I gave only 4 stars for install, other that there awesome

nice but too short
I like the look and feel of these levers, They are wider than the stock levers on my 2012 Shadow Areo, They are about 1 inch shorter in length would have been better a little longer, If you have large hands you might not be able to get all four fingers on the lever. But for my arthritic hands they work well.Been using these about a week. They are really too short for riding with gloves in cold weather. can only get three fingers on the clutch lever with my little finger running out of room. I don't know why they were designed so much shorter than the oem levers. love the look and wider flat front but darn things are too short. Will prob have to put my stock levers back on. Oh well I have wasted $30 before so no big deal. I think they would work well for a man with small hands or a woman.
