Cut Resistant Gloves - 2 PAIRS Small - Food Grade, Level 5 Protection from Kitchen Knives - Great while Shucking Oysters

I purchased two pairs of these gloves so my 7 and 9 year old could help me with cooking. Both wear these gloves while using sharp instruments such as knives, graters and peelers. My children said there were occasions when they would have accidentally cut themselves but for these gloves. They have used these gloves while using the Kai Little Chef Children's Stainless Steel knife (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JBYJOI?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image), which is a real knife, so both I and my kids feel safer with these gloves. The only cautionary note is that the gloves run a bit small - I purchased size small for my kids and both say the gloves are hard to put on because they are so tight. For cleaning I just ran the gloves through the laundry and that seemed to work.

I purchased these gloves to use while wood carving. The quality is good, and the gloves are not bulky but comfortable and tight fitting. Product arrived earlier than expected. Price was cheaper than similar selling gloves and I even received two pairs, which made it an outstanding value.

I initially bought these to protect my poor fingers while hand sanding, but was also pleasantly pleased that because of their tight fit, they also helped with my arthritis.

I use this style of glove at my job all the time and have used several different brands over 15+ years, so I decided to purchase some of this brand for use at home, as well as some smaller sizes for my children. This description said they run small, so I was a bit concerned on what size to order. I always use medium at my job and have never used any other size. The mediums on this brand run very large, they are comparable to size larges in several of the other brands, so they are far too big for me to use, they are almost too large for my husband who wears a size large. The size small I got does fit me, so it is comparable to a size medium in other brands. The x-small size I got for my older child are barely smaller than the size small, literally about 1/8" difference in finger length, so will not work for her at all currently, but she will eventually grow into them. The overall quality is great and what I expected, but the sizing does not run true at all, and the ones I got, run very large compared to other brands. Many other reviewers say they run small in size, so it appears that it depends on when the gloves were made or maybe it comes down to sheer luck on what you end up with. They do what they are meant to do, so I am impressed with that, and the cost is great. But the sizing is not true at all and seems to be all over the board.

These gloves are great if you have to handle anything sharp that might cut your hands or fingers. I have been handling stained glass and there was no problem handling the sharp edges of the glass. They’re great for paring veggies too. You don’t have to worry about cutting yourself.

Bought these for my nephew (12yo) for working on whittling and wood carving projects. Fit great, and he can still move fingers easily while using.

Love the fit and comfort of these gloves; however, the material is slippery and too slick, making it impossible to hold items securely in your hand. I use my gloves for wood carving, and ended up using an old rubber coated garden glove over this cut resistant glove to allow for safe gripping.
