So glad to have found this sunscreen that is acne safe, EWG certified, and has a matte finish on my skin.Acne safe: I have been using this on my face daily for 5 months without it triggering any breakouts.Matte finish: initially it has a very white cast and seems like it isn’t moist enough to rub in. But if I just pat and rub it in a little, it will blend into light skin with olive undertone, leaving a matte finish that doesn’t turn oily or look too moisturized during the day, even if I’m sweating.

I was very excited to use this sunscreen based on the high EWG rating. I'm a big fan of the brand, Attitude and own several of their household and personal care products.I tried the sunscreen while visiting Hilton Head, SC.... I spent 4 hours at the pool and was diligently reapplying every 90 minutes (FYI - instructions on the bottle say to reapply every 2 hours). Well, as you can see in the photo, I still got very burnt. I really wanted to love this sunscreen, however I'm extremely disappointed.Also it's worth noting that the white cast isn't too severe when you first apply, however upon reapplying at later increments, the sunscreen becomes increasingly harder to rub in. As you layer more and more, the sunscreen itself pills, leaving streaks.

I love this BUT the price keeps getting ridiculous. Bought a few, but I won’t be buying again. There are always inexpensive products coming onto the market. Get a grip, it is sunscreen, not wrinkle remover.

I have tried a few different brands for EWG rated mineral sunscreen (Earth Mama, Badger, All Good, Raw Elements). This I have found to be the easiest to apply and it stands up to sweat as long as you apply indoors about 15 minutes before going outside. As you apply it is is more liquid and spreads easier than others and then it seems to set in place shortly after applying. I used this for a day on and in the water in Cabo and only got slightly burned on my back where I was not able to reapply easily.

The product works and has clean ingredients. The issue is that it is very hard to rub in and it leaves a very significant what cast on the skin. I will likely not repurchase.

From my daughter -I loved that this product is EWG certified. I have used it twice so far now, and personally did not need to reapply after 3 hours and being in/out of water.It is very thick and will leave a white cast if it’s not rubbed in completely, I use a spray bottle to moisten my skin first before rubbing in the lotion. The first time I used I was very thorough in my application, to the point it felt like a workout (being pregnant lol), but didn’t rub it in as much the second time and the white case was pretty noticeable.You definitely want to rub it in completely when first applied.

I have papulopustular Rosacea and allergic contact dermatitis. I must wear sunscreen on my entire body on a daily basis.I appreciate that this product is truly fragrance free and doesn't contain any other Balsam of Peru allergens like Aloe and other plant derived oils, butters, tree products, and other plant/tree ingredients that are allergens for BoP allergy sufferers.This sunscreen leaves a very noticeable white cast, even if you rub it in for several minutes. I am very fair skinned and it is still very noticeable.It takes at least an hour to dry enough so that you can comfortably wear clothing. It never actually fully dries and skin will feel tacky through the entire day.I will say that I did not have any skin rashes or rosacea breakouts from this suncream and it actually was soothing on my ultra painful Rosacea face. However, it was very difficult to apply to my ultra painful face bc the cream is so thick and havy and requires extensive rubbing in.If I can't comfortably wear it on a daily basis and if it makes my pale face look white, then this is not the product for me.I'm so disappointed. It's so difficult to find products that are truly BoP free.
