I have an enormous phone case on a rather large phone. If the phone is mostly centered in the clamp, this phone holder works pretty well. If the phone is too far off-center (ie, to avoid pushing the power or volume buttons), there is not enough tension to prevent rotation. For most phones, this will not be an issue, but I just counterbalance the rotation tendency with the charging cable so it's fine for my s21 ultra with unicorn beetle pen case on it.The clamp works fine and is reasonably solid. I've broken other clamps on similar phone holders, so this one is slightly more sturdy than average. I use it on an end table that doesn't give a lot of edge for the clamp to attach to, and it works pretty good even with that limitation. I do need to loosen and readjust once every few days.The gooseneck is easy enough to move but sturdy enough to stay stationary, as long as you don't bump it. It's about the right balance of strength and flexibility for a cell phone. I especially like how the clamp for the phone works -- it's easy to use, reliable, and works without any fiddling. There is a rubber lining that stabilizes and centers the phone, and it works great. I also use it on camp chair arms to hold my music on my phone when playing guitar or uke, and it works great for that too. At this very reasonable price, this is a five-star item.

Wow!!! I sure didn’t expect what I received for the price I paid - definitely worth the price! It’s super easy to clamp on my desk. Perfect phone stand/phone holder.

I have a little set up in my room to give me a working space and this gooseneck is super duper stiff. I mean it takes a good amount of force to shape it to your desire but it stays the shape and holds very well.The clip and the end can hold my iPhone 15 pro max sideways no problem and it has a very firm hold on your phone. I don’t see it falling off of the clip unless I want it to and I start shaking it but then again, that’s the only way I can see my phone falling off of the clip.The grip to hold it in place is nice and easy to use. It’s not difficult to set it up all around in different spots and it has a nice little grip on the adjustment screw so it’s easy to really tighten it wherever you set it up.To sum it all upIf you want something that’s stationary and mobile, solid 5/5If you want something that’s more flexible then I don’t recommend this. I tried to use it in my bed to hold my phone in place where I want to sleep and its stiffness is too much of an inconvenience. Everything else other than that is amazing.

I have been creating instructional videos for over ten years. I've tried numerous tripods over the years. As cellphones got better, I switched from a dedicated video camera setup to using my cellphone. However, most cellphone tripods I used had a wealth of issues. They would be easy to tip over, hard to get the cellphone into, and most of all, they would create a barrier between me and the artwork. I'd have to reach around or behind the tripod to get to things I needed.Finally, I decided there had to be a better way. I looked into ways to clamp the cellphone "over" my art desk area, so the cellphone and its support were wholly away from my working area. I found this Lamicell gooseneck clamp mount, and it seemed absolutely perfect for me!First off, the gooseneck is STURDY. So many other ones droop or bend over time. That would have driven me absolutely crazy. This one is stiff and steady. Yes, you can bend it, to get it into the shape you want. Once you do, you can know it's going to stay there. The shape I need is a U which goes up toward the ceiling and then back down again. You can imagine that the weight of this setup would be continually pulling the unit down toward the floor. The gooseneck holds against that. It is nice and strong in its shape.The clamp is strong and secure. It holds onto the shelf and is solid there. I have zero concern about it.The connector to the cellphone itself is also awesome. So many of my other tripods have connectors which are really challenging to use, especially with one hand. This one is incredibly easy. Just squeeze and it opens up. It is quite easy to get the phone exactly the way you want without accidentally pushing buttons.I should have bought this MONTHS ago. It would have saved me so much grief. I'm glad I have it now, and am just thrilled with how it operates.So again, note that the gooseneck IS STIFF. It doesn't easily twist. So if you need something you can constantly bend or rearrange, this might not be for you. But for me, it is absolutely perfect. I want to evaluate an ideal angle and then have it stay there.Highly recommended.

If you’re debating whether to buy this item, don’t WAIT any longer!!!!!! BUY IT. !!!! This phone holder is very very good quality and it just blew me away because it’s so cheap in price . It basically clamps down on anything- you have to unscrew the clamp, place it on the item and then rescrew the clamp. The flexible arm is very strong and when you put it in the position you want, it stays. The clips that hold your phone are also very strong and secure. I personally have no complaints about this item. I absolutely love it which is rare for me to say that.

Tried another brand first. That one was loud and it broke within 2 weeks. But this one is perfect! The neck movement and holding gripper move with zero sound, so it doesn’t bother anyone else. The phone gripper opens and closes very easily and holds your phone tight. You can rearrange the placement using only one hand. I have zero complaint or issues and can’t stress enough how happy we are with this one especially in comparison to the original kind we bought.

OK so I am a frequent watcher of movies on my cell phone and I was getting annoyed of constantly holding it by myself and hurting my neck and my hands so I bought this product and it was so easy to put together an attached to any surface well.The grip is very strong and can increase to any size phone with or without a case.I literally tell all my family members how much I love my gooseneck and I use it every night or when I’m getting ready to hold my phone and play music.As you can see in the picture I also use it to hold my scrunchies. I have even bought a few for my family and friendsI will say for cons this was my second purchase of a gooseneck my first one was very faulty and cracked after trying to tighten the grip but I heard that that was a problem with a lot of the older models and I probably was unlucky with my first purchase but my second one I have had for almost a year plus and has been going strong. Also the silicone or plastic part has gotten a little bit dirty and it was kind of hard to remove makeup stains but other than that it’s perfect.

Have been looking for something to hold my phone so I can prevent looking down so much and hurting my neck. This has been great so far! You can clamp it pretty much anywhere. I clamped it on my couch where I hang out a lot. Now I can keep my neck more straight and watch my shows more comfortably. It holds my samsung S10 very well. I can also type on Google or go on Facebook easily as well. I got the rose gold one and I love it! Best purchase I've made.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this phone holder, I have been through many of these phone holders and all of them have sagged over time. This one is very sturdy. With all the conference calls I’m on these days I like that this allows me to set my phone at eye level. I typically use my phone rather than my computer for most of my conference calls. This stand is actually sturdy enough that I can touch the phone and login as necessary without worrying about the stand moving or collapsing as has happened with stands I’ve tried in the past. If you’re like me and you’ve tried many of these, the rigidity is new and does require a bit of muscle. This is a perfect phone if you plan on setting it and leaving it in that position most of the time, or you only occasionally have to change the position. If you are constantly moving your phone up down and around this may not be the stand for you. I also love the way the connection to whatever surface you are putting it on is very adaptable. This was really well designed. The clamp is a rubberized so it is safe for use in fine furniture or glass and can adjust to anything from 0”-4”. Same with the clamp that holds your phone, I have no issues using this on my expensive phone, with or without a case on it.
