A Perfectly Authentic Prop for a Western-Themed Party—A Real Showstopper!
**Denix "Peacemaker" 0.45 Replica Gun (Pewter) - Non-Firing Replica****A Perfectly Authentic Prop for a Western-Themed Party—A Real Showstopper!**I recently brought the Denix "Peacemaker" 0.45 Replica Gun to a western-themed party, and it was an absolute hit! This non-firing replica added an incredible touch of authenticity to my outfit, and everyone at the event was impressed with how realistic it looked.**What I Liked:**- **Incredibly Authentic Design**: The detail on this replica is stunning. It looks and feels just like the iconic Peacemaker revolver, right down to the weight and finish. The pewter color gives it a realistic, aged look that perfectly complements any western attire. At the party, I received numerous compliments on how authentic my outfit looked, and this replica gun was a big part of that.- **High-Quality Construction**: The build quality of this replica is impressive. It’s made from metal and has a solid, hefty feel, which adds to the realism. The moving parts, such as the trigger and hammer, work smoothly, enhancing the overall experience. Even though it’s a non-firing replica, it feels like you’re handling the real deal.- **Great for Photos and Role-Play**: This Peacemaker replica was a fantastic prop for photos at the party. It helped me get into character and added a dramatic flair to the event. Whether I was posing for pictures or simply mingling with guests, this prop added an extra layer of fun and authenticity to the evening.- **Safe for Events**: Since it’s a non-firing replica, I didn’t have to worry about safety issues, which is important at social gatherings. It’s realistic enough to look the part but safe enough to bring to any event without causing concern. The peace of mind this provides is invaluable, especially when you want to focus on enjoying the party.- **Conversation Starter**: This replica gun was a real conversation starter. Everyone wanted to know where I got it and marveled at how realistic it looked. It definitely helped me stand out and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.**What I Didn’t Like:**- **Trigger Sensitivity**: The trigger and hammer work well, but they’re a bit sensitive. While this isn’t a huge issue, it’s something to be aware of when handling the replica. You don’t want to accidentally damage any of the moving parts by applying too much force.- **Pewter Finish Can Show Wear**: The pewter finish looks fantastic, but it can show wear if handled roughly or if it’s knocked around. I noticed a few minor scuffs after the party, but they were easy to buff out. A bit of care is needed to keep it looking its best, especially if you plan on using it frequently.- **No Holster Included**: The replica doesn’t come with a holster, which would have been a nice addition for completing the look. I had to find a separate holster to carry it at the party, which wasn’t a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you want the full western gunslinger look.**Bottom Line:**The Denix "Peacemaker" 0.45 Replica Gun (Pewter) is an outstanding addition to any western-themed outfit. It’s incredibly realistic, well-made, and sure to impress at any event. While the trigger sensitivity and lack of a holster are minor considerations, the overall quality and authenticity of this replica make it a must-have for anyone looking to enhance their western look. I had a fantastic time at the party, and this replica gun played a big part in making my outfit look authentic and memorable. If you’re looking to make a statement at your next themed event, this Peacemaker replica is definitely worth adding to your collection.

Get three coffins ready
I was probably 8 years old when my mother introduced me to "Fistfull of Dollars". To this day, they remain my favorite westerns. A couple of years ago, I was shopping for a Halloween costume, and I found a really cool leather black hat, and a matching black and white poncho. My mother happened to be with me at the time. When I put them on, she was like "they are totally you!". Problem with adult costumes is that most of them are designed for one night of fun. The other problem is that trying to find a cool looking gun in this day and age is next to impossible. In 2008, I was lucky to find a blue and white dart gun with a couple of holsters. I hate to say it, but it's the "little things" that make or break the costume. I started hunting around on the internet later, to find that these beautiful replicas actually existed, and not as costly as I thought they would be. I have seen exact replicas of the Colt 45 used in "Fistfull of Dollars" selling for $110. I decided not to copy Clint Eastwood, but create my own version of his persona. I just received the Pewter Denix "Peacemaker" replica, and it is everything I ever wanted as a child. I like the pewter because I wanted a gun that looked kind of weathered, not too shiny, but not completely dark either. This gun has the weight an feel of a real gun, The barrel spins, the hammer cocks, and there is a spring loaded firing pin on one side, but it is there for looks. The only difference from this gun and the Fisfull of Dollars replica is the snakes on the handle! The replica showed up on the exact date that amazon said it would. The gun comes in a small box that looks somewhat like a cigarette box that says [...] made in Spain. I have also ordered a fancy leather gun/holster combo which is on it's way. I recommend this product to all of you who are sick of wasting a good costume with a silly toy gun that looks less than real. I am used to twirling cap guns over the years. This one has some weight, so I need to practice again! "My mistake, make that four coffins!" _Clint Eastwood.

Heavy duty looks, feels and weighs what it shoot
This is a perfect little replica for practicing gun slinging, it is balanced like it should be and is pretty rugged. I would recommend practicing over carpet as the gun is heavy and might break or get badly marred over concrete or tile. All aspects of the gun function fully from the trigger to the hammer to the cylinder. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because although the cylinder spins, it does not spin well, it has a little wiggle room and rattles a bit when you spin it. Otherwise, its a great little replica. Probably the only reason this gun wouldnt fire is because the barrel doesnt go all the way to the cylinder.

Good inexpensive reproduction.
Nice repro gun, heavy like the real deal. The grips were loose when it arrived, but a screwdriver (a tool, not a drink) quickly fixed that. Looks good in my holster, too, and adds that perfect touch to my cowboy persona.
