i cannot use it in USA its uses 50hz and USA uses 60hz so only way to convert is to expensive for one small machine wish i would have known before i purchased it i made the mistake of paying a electrician to make it work and he cut the cord to put a USA plug on it for standard outlet here and couldnt get it to work i called UK they sugested a cheap converter but it doesnt change the hz so it may work on surge a few times but will burn up the motor after that so now im stuck with a non working product not happy at all
