Awesome product! Very simple setup & boosted signal strength from one to full bars.
Perfect for my needs. I live in a small apartment/motel complex that provides free wifi; however I was only getting one bar. (I'm 5 apartments away from the office in which the router is...not sure how many feet away.) I have Netflix, Hulu etc & was having to pay for Internet service to watch. My neighbor has an Alpha Wifi Camp Pro 2 Mini & highly recommended it, so I thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did. It was super easy to install (my neighbor said he called tech support to install his & that they walked him thru process.) Within minutes I was connected to the wifi at full bar strength. Works even better than what I was using & saves me $40 a month. Great investment at very reasonable price. Extremely happy with purchase & would definitely recommend to others who need to boost their wifi signal.

Camp pro works as advertised
The camp pro works well. Very easy set up went from 3 bars to a full 5. But it only boosts the signal, it cannot increase the band with. Many parks have very weak BW so the latency will still be there. Installed in our 5th wheel works with I phone and windows.

Super SLOW Speed; difficult set-up
Set up via iPhone with barcode did not work. Safari pulled up webpage and said it did not exist. Connected to Windows computer via ethernet and finally got it to work but it was something that only IT types would truly understand. After getting it set up connected to my home wifi and passwords working, I ran SpeedTest with unit connected 30ft behind my home wifi connection in RV. Results were pitiful; 0.6mbps download and about the same upload. Tried again holding the alpha antenna unit outside the door but results the same. Fortunately, I had also bought a standard AC1200 2.4/5.0 plug in wifi extender (B08L951KM6) for under $40 also from Amazon. The AC1200 unit works GREAT and set up was much easier from iPhone. AC1200 unit ran SpeedTest with almost 50mbps download and typical 5mbps upload speeds. And the unit was plugged in under a cabinet in the RV with walls and other obstacles to pass through. Alpha is going back; perhaps their more expensive units are better with outdoor antennas but I have my doubts as they are only using 2.4ghz and still limited by that router device. Can't believe some positive reviews I see for RV people with these Alpha units. I'll stick with the plug in the wall unit AC1200 for now as it's giving great results and should be easy to set up at an RV park based on easy set up at home.

Awesome product
Absolutely love this device! I get an awesome signal now in our RV Park. I recommended this device to 3 other folks in the park, two of which purchased this item from Amazon. It was so easy to set up with my wireless connection. I am only fifty feet from the office which had an ok connection, but this device gives me five bars all the time. The others who purchased this live maybe 100-150 yards from the office (main WiFi source) and they get five bars all the time also. We are all permanent residents in this park so I don't know how well it works while traveling from park to park. I highly recommend spending the money for this product. Customer service is awesome and that is important to me. I hope it works for a long time. I have had it one month now.

It Worked ...so far
I was apprehensive about this purchase based on other reviews. Instructions were alittle confusing and the print was pretty small but I got it connected to my home WIFI. Took it out to my RV and was able to get a very strong signal- the RV is basically a metal van. I've never gotten a usable signal from the home wifi inside the vehicle and the distance is only 50 feet from the home router. Once connected I was able to use my phone for internet and use the Firestick to watch streaming video. I hope this will connect with campground WIFI as easily and as well as it did here at home. Will update after next camping trip.

Mixed Results
Update: I experienced a slow internet connection when I first setup the Alfa WiFi Camp Pro 2 (19.6 Mpbs via my laptop internal wifi care, but only 1.56 Mbps with the Alpha Wifi Camp Pro Mini). However, it performed well the following day. I will update this review after I get more experience with it.By the way, I previously bought the larger Camp Pro 2. The first one didn't work; it turned out to be a bad USB cable. The second one worked... sort of. It provided a slow and unstable wifi connection. However, the Alpha 36A would lose the connection with the Tube U receiver every few minutes. It was so maddening that I stopped trying to use it.

Constantly Disconnects
Package arrived within 2 days and I was excited to get it set up but turns out my package was one of the batch that the manufacture sent to Amazon with the most important part of the kit missing - the actual receiver. I contacted them on a Sunday and they responded immediately asking me to confirm my address and they'd ship out a part right away. I was surprised at prompt attention and no fuss about me saying the part was missing. I found out after that they knew they shipped a batch to Amazon missing this part. I got a tracking number the very next morning - but they sent it via the slowest possible method and it took a week to arrive. One would imagine if you messed up like that you'd try to provide some kind of expeditated shipping. I get it set up and that's relatively painless - their GUI is simple and straightforward. Even if you don't have any tech skills or knowledge they've made the set up very easy and the directions are pretty simple to follow if needed. My problem is it disconnects a lot. The first day I couldn't keep it connected for more than a minute or two at a time and then it finally worked but it still disconnects about twice a day. I usually have to go through a whole routine of turning off the hotspots - apply, turn them on - apply, and hit the wifi signal button, sometimes I have to unplug and plug it back in and let it cycle through before it will finally reconnect. It can see the campground's wifi but still won't reconnect unless I run through this cycle. I'm in a jam where I need the connectivity and can't wait to ship this back and get another kind instead so it is what it is. It functions about half the time which is better than none.
