I use this tape to fix net to my windows to keep insects out. It does a good job and comes off cleanly although it can take a bit of effort to take it off the window frame. I have found that i can reuse it the following season after washing but by the third season it is loosing it’s adhesion. It sticks to everything which is good but can be a problem too especially if you are trying to apply long strips and if it sticks to itself it is impossible to use.

I first discovered this type of 'tape' via QVC, selling it under a branded name. These days if I see anything I now always do my research on amazon as to quality, performance and obviously price. This I did and on this occasion I bought from Amazon, this particular product. It is exactly the same as can be bought elsewhere except it is not in branded packaging, and does not contain instructions, merely suggesting use for holding down rugs etc. I bought 2 reels of the stuff, all that I needed instead of having to fork out more for more than I needed. The length on each 'reel' is a tad longer than branded variety.Tips: Do NOT use directly on painted surfaces unless you never wish to remove your object, since remaval will take half the paint/plaster away with it. NEXT - Think very carefully before applying where you are going to put it, or if and when you may wish to remove it. NEXT - Consider the weight of the item compared to the area of tape needed. I say this because I wished to put up a 24'' roller blind. The tape would have taken the weight BUT the fixing supplied on which I wished to place the tape was so miniscule that the tape could not possibly have held it up, so I ended up cutting the blind and stuck the 'material' to a plastic double glazed door (to keep out daylight/sunlight during summer). Thus it will be easily taken down if necessary, except I cannot roll it up if I wanted to. -

I used this to tape some very cheap, thin plastic sheets to a textured ceiling. Everything is staying nicely in place. I will update if it falls down, but it looks like it will hold just fine. I'm aware this is not a really strong test of its capabilities, but it's what I needed. Also, I did not clean the ceiling and it was quite filthy, so the fact that it stuck at all on a gross, textured, upside-down surface is impressive in my book. Half-point off for how hard it is to get the backing off of it, and the price-to-length ratio. Otherwise, it's dandy for my purpose and I will buy again.UPDATE: The adhesion to the ceiling is 100%, but for some reason the adhesion to the clean, smooth plastic is appalling, which is weird because normal scotch tape will tear the plastic rather than come free of it, so, going off that logic, I tried to re-tape with the scotch tape, but this product doesn't stick to cello tape either. So I've broken out the packing tape in the hopes that the sticky side of the packing tape and the sticky side of this tape will hold the plastic part-way between. I'm deducting only one star, as it's still amazing to stay on the ceiling, and I'm pretty sure the combination I've applied will be the end of it. Will still order again. If there's any other issues, I'll update again.

I needed a double-sided tape to replace the adhesive velcro strips on my windows, that is used to hold the insects mesh in place. After over a year the adhesive unfortunately lost its ability to stick and leaving very hard to remove adhesive mess.I found this on Amazon and decided to give it a try, so far I am pleased.This should not leave any mess, if and when I decide to remove and thats what I needed. * PROS** Affordable ( at the time under £5 )* Quantity (5m long enough)* Quality ( good so far after months )* Strong bonding* Easy to use and cut* Value for £* Transparent* No mess/adhesive if I try to remove. (excellent)* Easier to remove than most double-sided tape I used, and the only one that doesn't leave residue behind (wonderful).* Stretch ( so you get more out of the product ) *CONS** sides of the tape stick on surface and is very hard to remove. Which is good, shows that it's strong. However the package that the tape comes in should have some sort of coating to prevent the tape from sticking every time you stored away.* Not easy to remove after application. (not extremely hard either)* stretch if try to remove after application.Please note, I haven't tested the tapes suggested ability to be washed and reuse so I can't comment on that.I don't doubt that it can, just haven't tested it yet.Overall I definitely would recommend this and I will buy again where possible and necessary.

Used this all over the place.. very strong tape..Used it to add mouse mat to a wall.. I could even lean my elbow on it. Wished I had used less when it came time to take it off.Attach a laptop to a laptop tray.External disk drive to a wooden wall.Various smoke/gas alarms to walls.Light switches to walls.When it is time to get it off, it will come off, with a bit (sometimes alot) of effort. It does come off clean.. so there is no residue left behind.I have not tried washing it to reuse.I it is so useful, I'm on my 3rd roll.

This Tape will stick onto almost anything and is doing a great job holding onto even foam, though I would say its probably not as adheesive when reused as it comes with a layer of what I assume is glue that will be washed off. Still great tape though very usefull

It's not easy to reuse. It doesn't last (frames falling off the wall).Bottom line: it's a waste. I would not buy it again.
