I'm a fan of sardines and I've sampled literally dozens of different brands. Many of them are rancid, but some of them are quite tasty. These are the best of the best. They're always small, and the flavor and quality are top-notch. Just the right hint of smokiness and never fishy-tatting. They're a bit of a splurge, but if you're tired of the supermarket brands you can't go wrong with these.

A wonderful product. They were such a great treat less than a week ago (8/24/24) when they were priced at only $2.23 per tin. Not so much now that they are going for $6.49 per tin or a nearly 300% price increase! Goodbye, MW Polar. Best of luck with your new pricing strategy. Update #1: They have gone back down in price and I have now subscribed to them. When I wrote that they were a great treat I meant that they possess the best taste and texture I have ever had. Plus the clear lid lets me ponder how they were packed so perfectly every time I open a new tin. An ideal product for my touch of OCD. 8) Update #2: They have once again hiked the price this time up to $5.04 per tin. After buying them over 23 times, I will, once again, be taking a break from my daily routine, having cancelled my "Subscription". At this price there is little value here. Update #3: Well these folks are at it again! From $2.67 to $4.67 overnight (Feb. 25). Until they get their head out of their collective *sses and settle on a reasonable and consistent price, I will ignore their product! Too bad, too. Still such a great treat.

This was my 1st time having sardines and they were absolutely great!! The fish wasn’t too fishy and the smoke wasn’t too smokey. Understand that your palate isn’t the same as my palate. They were great flavored for me.
