I used these to refurbish some aluminum automotive wheels I have had for awhile. These polishing pads got the job done and my wheels look awesome. I must say these helped alleviate the elbow grease and beats the heck out of polishing by hand! These are perfect for polishing at different angles, curves and edges. They are big enough to get the job done but not too large that they cannot get into tight areas that you need them to reach. They are dense, durable and a nice high quality pad. I am very impressed, especially for such a great deal for the price. They did throw a little bit of material right when I started using them, so get them up to speed before starting your job, but that is always to be expected. I could not be happier with my purchase, highly recommended.

It had been sitting near a sprinkler for a month and the car was covered in hard water spots. I used these with a cleaner and the spots are gone. As some of the other reviews said, they did shed a little; but, ultimately, I wasn’t worried about the shedding as long as they still did their job. Overall, I am happy with the product。These worked perfectly to clean the wheels on my car.

They do work in the large areas.. need to now get a small attachment to get the crevasses.. bummer

As a matter of fact, I do really need something to help to make a final buffing on my car wheels. I bought it after comparing with some other polish products.As a DIY guy, I polish the wheel with metal polish and using the buff with a terry cloth. Finally, I will use this product with a drill to do the final buffing. They did a decent job! They are portable in size which can fit tiny corners. Thus, saving money and time going outside for polishing! So far, it has been keeping my car's wheels clean and well polished. I just wish they could have more packs.

Another cheap product from China. I tried to polish my chrome wheels with McGuire's chrome polish. Fuzz started flying off everywhere from the material on these drill bits, as long as I kept using them. They just smeared the polish, and were much more awkward and difficult to control than I expected. They are so small, it is difficult to hold them in the spots you want to polish Tried different speeds too, and not even close to the results when you hand polish. I should return them if possible, and start trying to buy non-China products. Even Turkish, Indian, Sri Lanken are better!!

I made some candle holders and used these to buff up a wax finish. They worked well. They will come apart if you run the drill rotation the wrong way. I don't think they can be cleaned of wax residue and reused, so I consider them a disposable item, good for one project if they get dirty or gunked up.
