CTEK(56-925 12 Volt Battery Analyzer

Absolutely love this battery analyzer. It’s accurate and easy to use. I no longer have to worry about the repair shop ripping me off by telling me it’s time to change my battery.

Bought this for work, some guys have a hard time figuring it out, but I love it works great.

I thought this unit was junk because it found several of my batteries to be bad when I felt they were good as they start the cars just fine and they're only a few years old. I sent it back and ordered a different brand that also checked the cranking voltage and the charging system only to find this more expensive tester found the same batteries to be weak. I have a Ctek battery charger that I really like so I feel like this Ctek tester is a good model if you just want to check the condition of a car battery.

I have several vehicles and I usually keep the old batteries as spares for a time after their targeted lifespan (4-6 years). Every once in awhile I charge them with the CTEK charger and test the batteries with this tool. Much easier than my Snap On tool that heats up with resistance grids. I recommend this tool to anyone who regularly performs their own vehicle maintenance.

Had to return. Only worked once. After that it would say it was not hooked up properly no matter how many times you readjusted the clamps and it did this on every car I tried.

This tester only gives the state of the battery as good, recharge and retest, or bad. The Solar BA9, which is in the same price range, gives much more information about the condition, charge, and health of the battery. The BA9 is accurate, and is a really good tester for sealed batteries. It also will test batteries ranging from 40CCA to 1200CCA.

This item works just as it is advertised; I have four vehicle batteries of various ages & this tester accurately analyzed the condition of each one quickly, safely, & easily.
