Quality of this set of jumper cables is pretty good. Like the carrying case. It allows me to store it in the interior of the truck, or I can hang it from a tie-down in the bed of the truck.

Works as expected for heavy-duty cables

These jumper cables are much heavier duty than you find in most retail stores like Walmart or Home Depot, and at an excellent price. They are 4-gauge solid copper, and long enough to reach between vehicles. I can tell you from experience that the heavier the gauge the more current you will get to the dead battery. I once had someone ask me to jump them using their cables, which looked to be maybe a 10 or 12 gauge set. their car would not even turn over. I brought out my (at the time) 6-gauge cables, and the target car started immediately. The only negative with this set, as someone else mentioned, is they are very difficult to get back into the case, just a very tight fit. When we get a new car the first thing I do is order set of these to live in the trunk. You may never need them, but f you do they will do the job.
