I love this. I read every review on this, some where good some where not. I decided after many days and weeks of thinking about it, that I would get it and I'm glad I did. I agree with others that this isn't a strong bird bath. It is plastic and very light. If you have lots of wind, then this may not be for you. But this is beautiful and I love it! All we did was fasten it to the ground and it stays put. It's made of plastic, but I don't mind, it's easy to clean and light and easy to handle. I love it!

For the price it is a decent birdbath. The thing is in the pictures it is a bright, beautiful blue. What came is literally grey, with perhaps the tiniest bit of blue but really it just looks grey and this was a real disappointment to me. I have a white house with bright sky blue front door and garage door. I thought it would match. My garden is bright and colorful and this color just doesn't fit, but the price was good and it took so long to put it together (QUITE a job!) that I didn't want to take it apart to send it back. Also if you get this birdbath DO get the stakes to hold it in the ground. Other reviewers mentioned it was (and it is) light weight plastic and easily blew over. I bought the stakes here at amazon (the kind that look like an upside down U with sharp prongs on the bottom) at the same time I bought the bird bath and they seem to work well to hold it firmly in the ground. In fairness it is a decent birdbath for the price but I ordered it for the color and it is not at all like the picture.

First of all the plastic is cheap and shoddy, the color is no where near as attractive as in the photograph, it does not stand up straight no matter what you do to it and when I got the entire thing almost put together I find that the top/roof of the solar lantern light was missing but I remained hopeful because I thought Brylane Home to be a reproable company who cares about their customers satisfaction. Well, apparently, I was WRONG. When I contacted Brylane Home customer service to ask them if they could please send me the missing part as it was the very TOP of the fountain and was very apparent that it was missing, they said they didn't have one to send me. When I asked why not, they said they didn't have any extra ones. Well, okay, then crack open a NEW box and send me the missing part and scrap that one you had to take it from but at least CARE about your product quality not to mention your customer satisfaction. Then they offered to refund the money IF I sent it back. Excuse me? It took me well over an hour to put the thing together in the first place because the instructions are anything but clear and now they tell me to take the thing back apart and MAIL it back to them if I want my money back. I shared that with them in addition to my having already crushed/recycled the box it came in which would have forced me to buy a NEW box to return the thing in all of which I shared with them to which they responded by offering me a 10% refund...10%...my time, energy and dissatisfaction in THEIR product was worth all of $3.60 to them. Unbelievable. So I contacted Amazon to file a complaint against Brylane Home and their handling of this situation and as always, Amazon puts their customers FIRST, cares about our satisfaction and goes above and beyond to make things right, which they did in this case but I will never, ever purchase anything from Brylane Home again, and the reality is I also receive their catalog by mail, guess where that's going to end up until I have time to call and tell them to remove me from their mailing list. You're right, the recycle trash can. I am a business owner myself so I know a businesses needs to make money but when you send customers products with MISSING parts and offer insulting, minimal solutions to make it right, it's POOR business practice and unprofessional, What they might have lost by cracking open another fountain box and sending me the missing part of mine would be pennies on the dollar to what they now lost having me as a future customer.

I ordered 2 very easy to assemble….but one of the Solar light doesn’t work.

It did not stay screwed in tightly and I had a hard time keeping it straight once I filled it with the water. Other than that the bird love it and it works.

I think its not worth for the cost this as it is plastic and the screws are not good enough it does not stand straight as it shows in the picture.The solar light came broken when i got the shipment.I did not take the hassle of returning it as the purpose i bought is for birds to have a good place to bath and drink water. It is solved even with out the solar light.

Nice birdbath but wasn’t expecting it to be so light weight. It does serve its purpose just know that it is not real high quality. For the price it is good

This seems to work as it should. I thought the solar light didn’t work but there is a pull tab on the battery that you have to remove. It took a few days for the birds to get used to it but they are using it now.
