Production left very sharp burrs on the handles. This was bought as a gift so I didn't have time to send it back. I had to get sand paper out and sand down the handles so it would cut the person using it.

This is a durable basket to collect your veggies from the garden. The holes are just the right size to rinse the veggies in the basket and let the water flow through. The reason for taking away one star is the comfort of the handle on my arm. The handle as well as the basket is a hard rigid plastic material. The handle has a "sharp edge" that is uncomfortable on my arm - puts an indent in it to be honest. That being said, if you aren't carrying it by letting lay on your arm, it's fine to carry by hand - sturdy. Oh, and it's easy to clean.

Perfect for carrying vegetables from the garden & rinsing them off outside

We love this for harvesting our garden vegetables. We have both the large and the small. The large is great for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, corn, and then we like the smaller one which my 2 year old carries around with green beans, her strawberries, and smaller items. You can hose them off or pop down in the sink and they hold together well, and are sturdy enough for a big load of squashes.

I paired this handled strainer with a double walled beverage container. Fit in just right and I put garden produce in the strainer, fill container with water and soak. The beverage container has a plug on bottom so water plants with it. My garden produce is clean before taking it to kitchen to prep.

This has been great to take to the garden for squash, beans, peas, tomatoes. It rinses out easily. It is sturdy and durable.

These garden colanders are amazing. I have several of them and use them all the time in the garden, obviously for harvesting and washing vegetables and fruit but also for collecting when I’m pruning or deadheading, etc. These are exceptional quality- the first one I bought was well used for 4 or 5 years before it cracked-and it would have lasted longer if I hadn’t left it out one winter in the sun and cold by accident (the plastic eventually UV’d out). I find them so useful I have several, including the small size, though I find this large size more useful. I have recommended and gifted these to other gardeners. Well worth the price!
