Okay, so I ordered the brown color— in the product photo it has brown buttons, but the one I ordered has white buttons. The bottom is also not the same cut as the product photo. That being said, I still really like it and am keeping it. I really like the fabric and the way it fits. It looks best with the sleeves rolled up.

Very nice dress, comfortableand not see through. Buttons don't separate like what some dresses do. I'm 5 foot 2 and it's a nice length on me.

Nice, basic, cotton button down dress. I ordered my regular size; the dress has a relaxed fit. The fabric is nice, medium weight, has a bit of texture. Seems like it'll be durable. The royal blue is pretty, a rich color. Appreciate that the dress has pockets. In contrast to some other reviewers, when I put the dress on, pockets are at thigh level. Also, this garment works as a duster. Did not like the look of the white buttons on the royal blue fabric. So I carefully painted the tops of the buttons with blue fingernail polish. (I covered the fabric under and near each button.) The buttons are now "hand painted." Time will tell if the polish holds up to washing (no idea if it will or won't). But, if it doesn't, hopefully it'd be easy to repaint the buttons. If not, I'd sew on blue buttons because white buttons are definitely a no go.Amazon requested ratings for sheerness and stretch. The royal blue dress is not sheer. According to the clothing label, the dress is 100% cotton (woven), but it has a slight amount of stretch.

I bought the pink, yellow, gray and black. I did not photograph the black. The other colors are not to bright or dull. The fabric feels like linen but it is 100% cotton. Here is what the dress looks like on me. I am 5" 4.50" and 147lbs. I have a thick waist and I have a bit of a stomach bulge with hips to match...lol. Sorry tmi, but I wanted to help all the ladies out there thinking about this dress. I'm thinking to try a size Small, if that works I will downsize but for now, I think the Medium is fine because it may shrink a bit being it is cotton. I don't feel like I'm being swallowed by the dress in the Medium size. I do like the looseness and you could easily style it more with a belt if you wanted. I'm not much of a belt person. There are two generous side pockets, the buttons are white. I'm thinking of changing them out to shell buttons. I think it may elevate the look. Also, the length is nice on my 5"4.50" fram. I really do like this casual, effortless look. Hope my review helps.

I ordered 3 of these, 2 in L (green and rust) and one in S (white). The white might have worked with the proper undergarments, except that you could see the pockets through the fabric. And even though I am a solid size 16 (38D with 45" hips), the S fit with a tailored but not tight look. I was swimming in the L and it was not flattering at all, even with a belt. The rust was more orange than I expected but not a bad color. The green was gorgeous.Fabric is fairly thick and seems to be higher quality than other similar dresses I've gotten in Amazon. Unfortunately, all three had the same white buttons that other reviewers complained of - they really do cheapen the look. I'm trying to decide whether or not to order a S in a darker color, knowing that I'm going to have to replace the buttons.It also looks more like you're wearing a night shirt than any of the other dresses I've gotten in this kind of a style, which is another reason I'm hesitating about whether to get again.

I was worried that the size would be wrong (I'm 5'2" and weigh150 lbs--I'm pear-shaped), but the size SMALL fits perfectly with more than enough room so as not to look tight around my butt. The cloth is not sheer or stretchy (I didn't expect it to be), but it's just soft enough to fall nicely. I bought six of these in different colors, and I expect to wear them all through the fall and into the winter. It's great with a belt, or worn open as a long jacket, or over pants and sandals/boots. And the price is not daunting! I'm happy!

I bought this dress to have something casual to wear after an abdominal surgery and I couldn’t wear anything with a waist for a bit. I actually like it, but I can’t say I’ll wear it in public because it does give “hospital gown” vibes. I am 5’8” and normally wear a 4 or a 6, so I got the small. It’s very billowy, but is shorter than I anticipated, so the fit is a little weird. But I like the color and the fabric is nice, so I’ll keep it.

My new favorite everyday dress! XXL fits me perfectly at 5’4” and a bit plump at the moment. Very slenderizing. I’m on a Dr controlled weight loss program & this will take me through the transition easily without worrying over “what to wear” I bought 9 colors and may buy them all. The white buttons that bother some are OK for me especially on the navy one. I wouldn’t waste my time replacing buttons on a dress like this unless it was for a special look. These just made my life easier while fitting perfectly & are so flattering especially in the summer heat. Each color is an opportunity to accessorize simply or not. Either way it’s a classic linen shirt dress. I don’t expose my arms or legs to sunlight & these help keep me sun free as much as possible.

The image and description were nothing like what I received. It wasn't as long as indicated, had no side slits, wasn't drop shoulder, sleeves weren't that long, and didn't feel anything like cotton. Took several emails but eventually did receive a full refund (item + shipping). Very disappointing.

the length is not the same as in the photo , I will throw it out and give to charity box instead .
