Used - Champagne BN01 Level 7 base Neutral -Very happy, toned down my bleached blonde which goes brassy.I doubled the time to cover gray in my roots and it worked.I'm a natural brunette so it did not blonde my natural colored roots but that was what I expected.Hair feels really good after using this product unlike purple toner shampoo which leaves my hair feeling like straw.I'm going to try a previous reviewers suggestion of mixing with conditioner and using more frequently.Really love this to tone down brassiness.

I was really nervous about using this the first time because my home dye jobs never end well, but I was pleasantly surprised!! A friend of mine recommended it to me... she has reddish hair and uses it to cover grays. As you can see, I have a decent amount of gray hair, plus my natural color is kind of blah. I was hoping that this would make my grays more golden without changing the non-gray hair too much. I’ve been applying it to just the grayish (uncolored) areas, not from root to tip. Initially, it is a little bit brassy, but after a couple of washes it looks closer to the last two pictures. I think it works great at disguising a spattering of gray hair, but I wouldn’t use it to darken a head full of light blonde hair because there is some initial brassiness. It looks a lot like iodine when you put it on, but it doesn’t stain your skin or scalp. There are no harsh smells, and you don’t have to use a whole bottle every time because there’s no mixing involved. Make sure you read the directions! You’re supposed to apply it to clean, freshly shampooed (no conditioner), wet hair.

I got darkest brown. First I applied it to dry hair with gloves and kept on for 25 minutes. It did absolutely nothing. The second time I applied it to towel dried damp hair with my hands and kept on for an hour. It definitely was more noticable with the second application.I have dark brown hair with red undertones and long story short, I messed up my hair and ended up with hot roots. This was able to blend out the hot roots enough where you can see in the first pic my baby hairs are bright red and in the second pic they're toned down.This does not eliminate red undertones so depending on lighting red will always show through. And in other lightings it can look almost black.This product didn't damage my hair any further than it already was, and I can get 3 uses out of the bottle for my chest length hair.I also did not experience any form of staining, even on my hands.

I love how this dye doesn't damage my hair and I love the color (I got Medium Ash Brown). It also doesn't smell bad.Unfortunately, I have to wash my hair once in two days and the color lasts for only one to two weeks, which is too temporary to my taste. Would give it 5 stars if it lasted longer.

Does not cover gray, only tones it down a little at best. 2 stars for easy to use.

Great price and it didn't trigger any allergic reactions for me like other PPD products. This is one of the few products that I can use that doesn't give me a bad reaction to. I used to use the Clairol Loving Care line before it was discontinued so those who are looking for an alternative, try this.

Works great. sticks well to my lightened hair AND natural hair, which is more than i can say for other temporary dyes. Slowly fades over a few weeks. I have long but thin hair, and the bottle lasted me 3-4 colorings.

This stuff is terrible. I was trying to find a product to replace their colorgloss line they stopped making. It was awesome. This isn’t even a real dye. I’m not sure what purpose it serves. Just made my hair feel dry which is exactly the opposite of why I use a semi permanent on my hair. A little goes a long way. I bought 2 since I have hair to may waist and one was enough. I tried to return the second unopened bottle but it won’t allow returns. Stay away from this crap.
