Jill's newest book fills in a much needed gap on a very important topic. Whether your nest is fully empty, with some birds out and others still in, or looking towards this upcoming transition, THIS book is a must read. Her writing is full of great wisdom in helping navigate the full range of emotions this season brings. She's given me so much to think about in regards of where to hold on and where to let go. Packed full of spiritual guidance, practical solutions and constant self reflection questions that help you work through the countless emotional changes. So very grateful for how her book is helping me to make this adjustment with better clarity, emotional stability, practical guidance and a deeper spiritual walk. It's been such a comfort in knowing ALL the emotions are normal and reading it is like having a mentor walking beside you. Sometimes she writes hard truths and sometimes great encouragement, but that's the making of a great book you will reach for time and time again.

This book offers great encouragement and advice for empty nesters and parents with adult children living at home. It is aimed at moms but there is wonderful wisdom for dads of adult kids as well. Jill is a mom of 5 adult children with lots of experience. She is so real and down to earth. I highly recommend this book!

My only child moved our two weeks ago & this book came a few days ago, just in time! I have admired Jill Savage for years because of her openness & honesty about her struggles, her marriage and raising her kids. This book is approached the same way, with openness & honestly but most importantly with Godly wisdom that only comes from someone who has leaned on God & saw His goodness in her brokenness & need. Jill provides wisdom, insight & encouragement to get us through this new season of our lives. It’s a must read for anyone experiencing the “empty nest”.

Jill Savage is vulnerable, honest and to the point in her journey into and through the empty nest years. I have been an empty nester for 2 years now and it helped affirm in me that I was moving in the right direction relationally with my adult children. The subjects of expectations, guilt, traditions, and opinions were discussed along with new passions, new friendships and a new season in marriage! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and have told my empty nest friends all about it. I loved it so much that I will be hosting a bible study this Fall! Hats off to Jill! I highly recommend it!

Jill shares her wisdom and offers encouragement to survive and thrive in this season of life. I especially connected with the chapters about letting go because Jill offers specific areas on which to focus . "Empty Nest, Full Life" will be my go to reference manual when I encounter the bumps in the road of letting go.

I was encouraged by this book, for the first chapter or 2. No offense, but the stories (over and over) about the authors children were almost too personal for me. All it did was bring me down, not encourage me.
