Dongcheng DSJ02-10 Die Grinder

The media could not be loaded.  It is a superb product from Dong Cheng. Physically 53 mm in diameter and 185 mm long, excluding chuck, fits in to the palm perfectly. Accepts 3 mm bur bits ,works vibration free. Only drawback is it lacks a speed control, which I installed in the available space inside. (See photo and video). The Chuck is quite sturdy with high carbon steel collet, that grips the tool very strongly.Exercise caution while using sander drums or aluminum oxide wheels which tend to be inherently unbalanced and make severe vibration. Never use more than 10 mm dis wheels at any cost. 25 mm dia cutoff wheels of course work okThe best thing is that Dong Cheng has excluded those extravaganza of useless tools and priced the core machine only. I appreciate the decent power rating of 105 watts which is sufficient for this type grinder, where many similar products , physically same size , rate motor power ranging from 130-230 watts superfluously. In overall rating I can say it is one of the coveted tool in a hobbyist's kit and a must buy item. Thanks Amazon.

I am a hobbyist , and please note the following points, the collet is 3mm only.And it supports 2.75mm(shank) burs, which are not common and are hard to find. I dose not support 3.17 mm burs/bits. In case of cutting wheel, the maximum diameter of the wheel should be 10mm(2.17 shank)It is properly centered, and has less vibration, which is kind of neat and equivalent to dremel. There is no variable speed, it's only 25000 rpm.WARNING: dont be dumb enough to think it is same as a electric drill. There is no speed control and do not tinker the collet, or buy a new shock and attach using a 2.73 or 3mm rod. If you do so, then you will become lord krishna, and this tool will become his chakra! Enough to cause blunt trauma or fracture to bone or death!!!!!
