Good Cover, but Not Perfect
UPDATE: Had this for over a year and it still works great! Only issue is the flap on the ends still does not stay down protecting the very end of your seat, otherwise it is still going great! Multiple dog approved!SUMMARY OF REVIEW: It is a good cover and certainly non-slip. Stays in place and the straps to the front seats is great to help protect your puppy/dog from falling into the footrest and keep dirt out. HOWEVER, the ends of the cover lift up a lot and the elastic strap there does not hold very well. This is troublesome because it is where most puppies/dogs sit--at the ends of the backseats by the window!REVIEW:Tired of washing towels... or throwing towels out? I was! My puppy is generally good in the car, but it only takes one accident to destroy towels. Not only that, but playing outside and getting muddy means cleaning towels constantly. I was looking for a new option that we more stable and reliable. So I turned to this pet seat cover over the other ones. The reviews were good and I decided to give it a try. I am fairly satisfied by the product and I would recommend it if you have the money to spend on a backseat protector.WHAT I LIKE:This thing is really non-slip. The dimples on the back of the cover work accident. Even before I set it in place and just had it loosely on the leather seats, I could tell that it was already working great. The anchors in the back are also genius and really help the cover from pulling forward. In case you can't tell, the anchors are two plastic loops on the back end of the cover (the side with the dimples which touches your seats). The anchors slip between the seat bottom (where you rest your rear) and the backrest--that crease between the two covers. You push them through and they catch on the back of that crease between the seat bottom and backrest to help the cover stay in place.I have now had it for a month, and it has remained almost completely in place (not the ends, see below). It is stable and does not slide or slip, which is important to me because 1) it is convenient to me so I do not have to constantly fix it, and 2) so my puppy is save and is not thrown around in the backseat like with towels.I like the headrest straps too which keep the cover in place too--for the most part. I know they are adjustable, but it takes a little to get it right; too much leaves the seat exposed, too little and it is too hard to pull over the headrest and it pulls on the anchors affecting fitting. They help keep the cover in place, but they are more difficult to take off when you pull the cover off the backseat. To me, the continuation of the seat cover forward and to the front seats is great. This gives your puppy/dog more room (mine like to rest in it sometimes because it is like a hammock) and it keeps your puppy from falling down into the leg room space and potentially getting hurt. Most importantly, it keeps dirt and hair from going into the abyss of your car--clean up is much easier.WHAT I DON'T LIKE:There are elastic bands on the side of the cover. At first I though this were an excellent innovation to help keep the sides of the cover from lifting up; there really is nothing to help the very ends from staying down because the last headrest strap is not at the very end and the anchors are just off-center from the middle of the backseat (near the seatbelts)--not near the ends. But the elastic band keeps slips very easily and constantly, even with minimal force while driving--even loading my puppy into the car! You can kind of see this in one of the photos--even though I JUST put it on, it slipped off the backseat end. This results in the ends of the cover lifting up, exposing the seat. It is more prevalent after you have driven and sometimes the entire end of the cover has lifted up and exposes the seat. This is generally were my puppy sits--near the window. So while the whole cover is great in the middle, the areas where most dogs sit and are in the car is really not protected because the ends lift up. This also results in the hair and dirt going down the sides--a reason why I got this to help with the mess! In fact, I would go so far to say that the cover almost funnels dirt and hair off the end--it would be nice if there was a catch for dirt and hair off the cover. While the cover is padded, I don't think my puppy things the cover is too comfortable. She is very restless back there as opposed to being on the towels. If and when she lays down on the backseat (rare), she almost always leans against the hammocky piece which attaches to the front seats. The seatbelt holders do poke through and they still feel pretty rough--especially sliding around.Last would be the price. I think it is a little on the expensive side for what it is. Yeah, it is much more advanced than the other seat covers. Yeah, it doesn't slip nearly as much as the others. But it still funnels the dirt and hair down the sides and it does not protect the portion of the backseat most dogs sit the most--the very ends by the window!Overall, I would recommend this product if you are desperate for a seat cover (like I was) or if you are able to get it during a sale (I got it on sale, but I have seen it for a little cheaper during other sales). Good product, little expensive, protects majority of the seat but not the ends as well.I have attached two photos below. Also pictured is the zip line I have in the back with strap (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002AN6STC?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_97) and the harness (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00URW5CTU?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_77). I recommend both of these products as well.

Best hammock I’ve tried
I’ve tried several dog hammocks and this is my favorite one. My previous one from this company lasted many years and never tore. It’s just very durable, easy to install, holds up to my wild big dogs. I just throw it in the washer and dryer to get it clean. It fits well in my Jeep Wrangler.

Don’t use the seatbelt tether!!!
Happy with the cover, hard to get all the yellow lab hair off though. Used one of the seat belt tethers, and Ziggy did bite on it a bit, but.I parked, opened the door and he jumped out, snapping the leash in 2. Granted, he had a few bite marks in it, but I never would have guessed it would snap.Hence, 4 stars. 5 for the cover, 1 for the free tether

I love it
Protects my car seat and my dog doesn't slide off the seat because you can attach it to front head rest.

Perfect!
This was EXACTLY what I needed for my car! If my puppy has an accident, it doesn't stain and is super easy to clean. It's so simple to put up and take down. I highly recommend this to everyone!

I love my dog and I feel pretty strongly about my car as well.
I drove around a well-loved Subaru Baja for years (R.I.P. - Bleu). After a certain amount of wear and tear, my furry co-pilot's antics didn't merit much consideration. That changed when I bought my current vehicle. The key features of my 2013 Ford Fusion (hey, it’s new to me) that are relevant to this product are the leather seats and the dark color of the interior. My old AKC hammock didn't look right for the car and was a bit small (not a ding on the product, it was purchased for a different vehicle). I eventually landed on the Plush Paws waterproof cover. In short: A thoughtful, well-executed product that provides utility and flexibility. Other covers may have some of these features, but the Plush Paws has them all, and has stood up to consistent abuse. This cover works well and looks good. The product picture is pretty accurate. There's diamond shaped stitching on area that covers the seat and vinyl for the hammock part. 1.25" (32mm) straps with plastic clips secure the cover via front and rear seat headrests. (Note: I picked up a pack of Multi-size Straps Webbing Slide Triglides Slide Plastic Slide Buckle for Backpack Bag (32 mm) to eliminate slippage and to route the working ends of the straps under the cover. By no means necessary if you don't mind loose straps, have a calm dog, and/or the angles in your vehicle prevent excessive slippage between washings). You can go with a bench seat style setup (as opposed to hammock) if you don't attach the front seat straps. A key feature separating this product from some other covers are the tube handles under the cover that wedge into the seam between the seat bottom and the seat back. They keep the cover from migrating laterally and allow it to hold the shape of the seat. Important if you have a dog with mobility/stability issues. Along the same lines, the silicone backing provide grip without creating rubbing and wear at specific points. I figured a couple of worn spots would be the tradeoff for not having the back bench destroyed, but roughly 9 months in, I'm not seeing signs of damaged anywhere. I don't know if it mentions it in the product description, but there are also side skirts.Maintenance is pretty simple. Shake out and vacuum the cover before throwing it in the washer (more for the washer's benefit than the cover). Hang dry (which has only taken an hour or so.)A lot of good features combine to make this a stand out product. I've recommended this to friends, family, and random dog park people.** Lagniappe: I honestly thought I would end up donating the bonus pet seat belts and harnesses. The seat belts are good. I keep one hooked up in the back and the other in the glove box (I also have the Plush Paws Co-Pilot Pet Car Seat Cover for Bucket Seats with Bonus Harness and Seat Belt for Cars, Trucks, SUVS and Vehicles - Black ). The harness is effective, but pretty basic. Depending on what you’re doing, it may not be worth the trouble to weave your friend into it. If you gone through the trouble of finding a harness that fits your pet well, forego this freebie or stash it somewhere as a backup.

Fits perfectly!
So much easier to clean then the seats themselves! I should have purchased a long time ago!

Really good! Bought cheaper version not a patch on this
Really good! Bought cheaper version not a patch on this, albeit no side guards as in picture but not a problem we've now ordered separately

Nice! Expensive but very high quality
Nice! Expensive but very high quality!! Easy to install. I'll definitely update to see how long it last with my rambunctious dogs! But I think it will last, as it seems really high quality. I also bought the door side panels from another company to protect my doors as well. The reason I purchased this more expensive hammock compared to the other hammocks that are out there, was because this one has flaps that protect the edges of the seats. I felt that I definitely wanted the side flaps for when my dogs get in and out of the car, I wanted the extra coverage of the seat, so the sides of the seats wouldn't get dirty or scratched with the dogs coming into the car. I'm glad I paid the extra to get this additional feature. This also comes with 2 seat belt like harnesses that can be attached into the seat belt buckle. I haven't used this yet, and not sure if I will, because the dogs can't really go anywhere, as this restricts them from getting into the front of the car, I don't think I need these straps, but we will see, it's a good option to have, just in case.

awesome product
easy to put in your vehicle, the straps go over the head rest and are adjustable, there are spots for the harness to attach to your seatbelt. Its a really great product. My biggest thing is without the cover my dogs slipped off the seats when you go around the corner, but with this they stay right in place. simple design in nature but amazing results.

Easy to install and very durable.
Reasonably priced and very well made. A breeze to install. It came with 2 different size harnesses and seatbelt connections. The free harnesses were a bonus. I just bought a new ranger and the cover fits perfectly. I also got the side covers to protect the doors. So happy with my purchase.

Durable and looks great too
Easy to install and protects the seat from my wet dog. I needed a cover that was water resistant and washes in laundry.
