Excellent product, but you have to be very careful not to touch the heated surface or you might burn yourself.

Feels like a cheap curling iron but it WORKS amazingly well on coarse hair (360 degrees w heat protectant)! No more standing around forever on each section praying it will maybe hold a curl. I have several high end curling irons that don’t come close to working this well.

Needed a new curling iron. Upon reading reviews I bought the Chi. Its a great curling iron. I gave it 4 vice 5 stars as its too easy to burn yourself. Wish it had a guard so your hand wouldn't slip up and get burnt. I've gotten used to it now and no longer burn myself, but my old iron had a guard and didn't realize how much I took that for granted until I didn't have it. Iron heats quickly and gives you beautiful curls.

Just what I needed! Heats up fast and works well. Glad that the heating element is not as long as my last one. It is comfortable to use quickly.

I purchased this in November 2024 and it is already starting to break down. It is very sticky at the hinges and can struggle to grip tightly. I think it should be expected to last more than 1 year.

This is very easy to use. I had tried a lot of curling irons in my life and this one seemed to hold my curls better.

I love this tool, since the barrel is a little bigger then I'm used to, it took a little trial and error (I watched a youtube video for tips) now it's my go to curling iron

love this curling iron. i suck at curling my hair and can never get my curls to hold. this curling iron is so easy to use. when i’m in a rush i don’t use the clamp and just use it like a cone iron and the curls still hold. i decided to go with the smaller barrel because i have thick but fine hair and my curls fall quick. have had the most luck with my curls staying since buying this.

Does the job, has multiple heat settings and I find the second highest to be enough. I was worried about purchasing something like this on Amazon, but I've had it a couple of years and it hasn't disappointed.
