Men's PhD Outdoor Heavy Crew Socks (Brown) Large

My husband didn't think it possible to find a sock he likes as well or better than his Smartwool medium hiking sock. But it has happened. These PhD socks are incredible. Lighter weight, but the cushioning and support is amazing. He actually didn't expect to like them, but....... This one is the Heavy crew, and it is perfect for workboots. I also bought him a pair of the medium Phd Crews and these will go with us on an upcoming vacation to wear with light hikers. Can't believe Smartwool has outdone themselves, but it's true. And they're made in the USA -- hooray.

I am begging you Smartwool, please go back to manufacturing these socks when they first became available. I ordered 4 pairs of Smartwool socks in August 2015 and 4 pairs of DarnTough in February 2015. Not a single pair of the Smartwool socks are around. They are all in the garbage because they fell apart. By contrast, I still have a pair of Smartwool socks from 5 years ago. I use them all the time. What happened? I will no longer be purchasing Smartwool.

Husband is a dairy farmer, feet end up wet most days. He likes these socks the best for his feet -- was afraid they'd be scratchy and "wool-ish" but they feel great. Ordered multiple pairs for him, worth the $$.

These are the best wool socks I have ever owned. This was my third pair and the first two pair are going strong nearly 5 years later. Pick yourself up a pair, you'll be glad you did.

Für mich sind die Socken in meinen Wanderstiefeln genau richtig. Habe auch noch Socken von Icebreaker, aber diese sind für meine Stiefel zu wenig gepolstert, da ich bei steileren Aufstiegen im Hacken scheuere. Und das gibt dann irgendwann eine Blase.Habe deswegen Socken von Smartwool, die Outdoor Medium Crew gekauft. Diese sind etwas besser gepolstert. Nun habe ich die dickere variante, als Heavy Crew entdeckt und direkt gekauft.Muss jetzt sagen, dass diese für mich optimal polstern und ich mittlerweile zwei paar besitze.Ansonsten brauch ich zur Qualität der Socken nichts weiter Sagen - diese ist hervorragend und die Eigenschaften von Merinowolle dürften ja auch bekannt sein.Klare kaufempfehlung!PS: Der Preis ist für mich gerade noch in Ordnung, weil ich vergleichbares nicht günstiger gefunden habe.

全体が厚いタイプを選んで購入しました。　クッションだけ厚いのを持っていますが今回は全体に厚いものを購入しました。やっぱり、あったかいです。登山靴に履いて低山に行きましたがクッション、締まるのも靴下の圧もでカバーされて快適でした。夏は暑いかも？

使用者の感想は「あたたかい」ですが、私の使用感は、Mサイズ（足23センチ）では足が中で動く感じです。土踏まずでぴったりすると気にならないかもしれませんが。
