I love these. They are small but enough for a treat. Very tasty. Any gluten free item that tastes good is going to be pricier. I think these are well worth the money. I am sure you can heat them up but I eat them frozen.

UPDATE (ORIGINAL REVIEW FOLLOWS THIS UPDATE) I bought boxes of Katz's mini cherry and apple pies. The review for the cherry pies was posted but now after opening the apple pies to 4 molded pies, I'm dropping another star. At this point, I would not buy this again or urge anyone else to. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought the apple flavor as well as this cherry version and maybe that's what's fueling this not so great review. In short, the cherry flavor pies are significantly smaller than the apple pies. Not only that but the bulk of the cherry pies are just dough. While good and flaky, I didn't expect to pay for 85% of these pies being dough. There is barely any cherry filling at all, and this was consistent in multiple boxes (I bought 3). Not good Katz!

These taste fine, but calling them pies is a stretch. I bought these hoping for small sized versions of Hostess hand pies and receiving half pop tarts with even less filling than a normal pop tart. It was like 1/3 filling to 2/3 crust if I’m being generous. There’s no fruit pieces like the picture on the box. If you want actual hand pies, buy yourself some gluten free pie crust and pie filling and make your own. This ain’t it.

Disappointed. They don't look at all like the picture on the box. Great crust. Not a fan of the frosting. There is very little filling which is mostly good. I love Katz but not these. Donuts are excellent.

I love cherry pie and miss the ability to eat the fried pies in the store. These pies are delicious. You only get 4 in a box, so they are a little expensive per pie. The pies are small, and you only get about 2-3 cherries per pie. They are worth it.

I cannot believe this company calls what I was sent a pie. There are supposed to be four. I opened the small package and what’s inside is nothing like the picture on the front of the box. Each of the four pastries (and that’s all I can think to call them) are the size of a large postage stamp. There is at best half a teaspoon of fruit filling and in all honesty, it seems like less because I can taste no fruit whatsoever. That means you’re left with a small mouthful of dough and some icing that tastes like they added water to powdered sugar. For what I received, the price is outrageous. Disappointing doesn’t begin to cover it. For what I received, the price is outrageous robbery and false advertising is getting closer. I ordered two boxes of blueberry and two of cherry. There’s literally no whole fruit, no recognizable fruit, and no taste of fruit, only dough and sugar water icing, and as I said. The infinitesimal layer of something in the middle might be something that at one time was fruit. But there’s maybe a half teaspoon of it. And the more I look at the one in my hand, the more I think the amount of spread they’re calling fruit filling amounts to 1/4 of a teaspoon. Don’t waste your money!! Not worth any price. I could throw some flour, powdered egg and milk into a bowl, bake a large postage stamp sized square and cover it in sugar water myself for pennies and I wouldn’t go to the trouble to make it because it’s empty calories and tasteless. That was $40 in the trash.
