Lexmark™ X792X1KG Return Program Extra-High-Yield Black Toner Cartridge

Add the fact that the printer doesn't let you print in just BW mode means that I have to replace all cartridges to make it run and I now have $1500 paperweight. F.lexmark.

It was open and had toner inside the box. I could not use it and could not return it

Note that this is not a C792 cartridge, but an X792 whuch cannot be used instead of C792.

Very bad product description. This cartridge DOES NOT WORK with the Lexmark C792 series. It looks exactly the same as the cartridges that do but it is incomptible. If you have no opened the box then send it back.

I thought I carefully checked the model number, both on the machine and on the toner, but found out the hard way that the X792 series do not work in the Lexmark C792. The computer chip on the cartridge is not compatible. This is most frustrating since the original toner listed this as a replacement part. I contacted Lexmark who then sent a regular toner at no charge (nice!) but I really wanted to take advantage of the high yield one. So my disappointment is not directed at the product.
