Easy-to-use convenient oven/grill
I've never bought a mini-oven before, in fact not even an electric oven of any kind as I have always used gas. Having read various reviews of assorted mini-ovens, I chose this one because of the larger capacity of 35L. It will easily take a 12" pizza. It also does fairly good toast, using the wire rack at the highest level and the upper heating elements only, it gives good browning of the bread. The toast is a bit hard maybe but when coated with butter or spread, softens a little. Also heats ready-to-cook pies very easily to give a nice crisp crust and evenly heated filling. Those are all the items I've cooked so far, as I've only had the oven for a couple of weeks, but I am already thinking enthusiastically ahead to cooking curries and stews in a suitable casserole pot, and roasting chicken, which I haven't done for years but this oven is just too good to just use for heating up. The controls are easy to understand, top elements only, lower elements only, or both, and both with circulating fan. The fan is a bit noisy but helps to heat pies nice and evenly. The timer clicks but I use it on "Always On", I don't really care for timers, I would sooner watch and see how the food is cooking. The thermostats are clicking every few seconds, but I soon got used to it and it tells you that the temperature is being monitored constantly. I don't have a thermometer to check the accuracy, but the oven produces food cooked to the level which you would expect from whichever setting you use. Recommended as a convenient table-top oven with decent capacity for me to feed myself, I think it would do for two people. Also it's much, much cheaper than a new full-size electric or gas appliance, both of which would require expert installation, pushing the costs higher still; you just take this oven out of its box (it's not very heavy, easy to lift, and I'm 68 years old), put it on your kitchen top, and plug it in. I think it would be easier to keep clean with a small brush, some crumbs can fall into the bottom of the door when it's open and flat. Right, now I'm off to search the internet for cake and bread recipes. And biscuits. And tandoori chicken. This oven makes me enthusiastic about home-made food. Maybe that will work for you too!

Great product
I purchased the 35L size and I was very pleased to see how much room there was, this mini oven fit 80% of my oven trays. Having the light inside is a definite plus point. Oven is stylish looking and very sturdy. Cooks extremely fast and the continues ON function is also a bonus not found on other brands. Definitely pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend.

Very easy to use
I received my oven yetserday and today I baked my first Bara Brith tea loaf and it was baked to perfection. I usually juat bake a loaf of bread to test my new items but I already had the mixed fruit soaking in tea so I made the bara instead, I set the temperature and checked it and it was 2 degree above the 150c and they came out perfectly baked. I have seen someof the other reviews on amazon moaning about getting to hot or not gtting hot enough or saying the timer is not working properly, they should read the user manual properly especially for the timer as it says that if the timing is for less than 20 - 25 mins turn the timer upto 40+ and then turn it back to the time required.

Good sturdy top oven. It cooks!
I have had or bought at least 6 ovens over the years, the last one I bought, a known make was a disaster, avoid those top ring versions that cook on the top. There is always a problem with those. Despite some peoples reviews, compared to other ovens I found this one well built, cooks well, looks good and has plenty of room. Love the longer timer for doing joints etc.. hate those 1 hour dials, no worries with this! Spot on. The only gripe I have is the double glass door, some allow access to squeeze a cloth through to clean the inner panes, this seems fully sealed with air vents all around. As of yet nothing has got in but there. Quick notes: Top gets warm but not too warm, so no burning of hands. When cooking place both top and bottom heating elements on the same setting, so if a chicken cooks for 1 20min at 180, place both on 180 for that recommended cooking time. Only one steel wire rack and one solid metal dish. (pictures show more) The small holder is the best, works very well. Usually these are not too good. Pleased so far! Great price, and probably the best I've bought out of the rest. Update: 1 year later. All points above are good. But cleaning this must be done after several cooks, especially joints etc . Cover your meat. Yes you may need to brown but after a year the build up was so bad I purchased a powerful gel cleaner, it took most of it off but after a damp cloth clean up I switched it on and blew it. So something got into the electrics. I disposed of that straight away. Good house keeping required. No issues with mechanics up to this point.

Its a great little product
It takes a little longer than conventional ovens to cook almost everything but it works far better than the last mini oven I had. It's also very roomy compared to the last mini oven but it's not designed to cook the family feast for 12 on a Sunday All in all well worth the money.

Could have been great
I would have reviwed this Koola 35l mini oven earlier but I hadn't realised they were still selling them. So, here goes, it won't be a long review. I'll agree with the other comments...It's a great little oven. I'd bought it in 2021 due to the rising energy costs to save putting my normal size oven on when I was only cooking a small amount. It cooked well, the temperatures were not far off as you can see in the second picture, and it looked ok in the kitchen & I was generally happy with it. However... I inherited my mothers De Longhi when she had to go into care. I was curious, now I had my normal new-ish Beko oven, this koolla & the baby Delonghi to see how they all compared when it came to energy efficiency. It's a habit, well before the energy price hikes, as I was an Electrician for many years. So I got my power meter out and started testing them. The results shocked me. The Beko bbif2100x, 66 litre, standard size single oven rated @ 2300w This koolla rated @ 1800w, I know it says 1700 but mine was pulling 1800w The De longhi eo12652, a baby oven, 12 litre capacity @ 1400w Now, energy ratings are important and, as you'll probably know, they tell us the 'maximum' power a device will use. With ovens that means that when you switch them on they will draw the full power rating in electricity until they get to the temperature you have set the thermostat to....and then, the thermostat will switch they oven on & off at intervals to maintain the set temperature. This means that once the oven reaches temperatue it will use nowhere near the 'rated' power. In these three cases the figures are as follows & they are the reason for this review. Beko - 2100w on start-up - 75w at set temperature De Longhi - 1400w - then 25w at set temperature The Koolla ? I'm glad you asked..... Theres no flaming thermostat in them !!!!! This means that far from saving you energy & hence money compared to a large oven they actually use 1700/1800 watts for as long as they are switched on. This is scandalous and there is absolutely no excuse for an oven not having a thermostat. So folks, decent oven in all other regards but it costs 24 times the running cost of the Beko & 72 times more than the delonghi. As you can see, it's an amazing difference & means that this Koolla oven is burning a hole in your pocket every time you cook with it. Sorry to be the bearer etc.. I actually got the Delonghi to halve its cost by simply removing the 10w internal light bulb, so it's 25w actually became 15w which is next to nothing if you're only having it on for 45mins or so for a ready meal, (about 11.25w). After the tests, the results were in, I kept the Beko, bought another 2 of the Delonghis (they're out of production so very hard to find so I got a couple of spare ones for if this one breaks) and sent the Koolla straight back to Amazon for a refund.

Timer already failed
The oven was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. We have used it on a number of occasions. However, I had chosen it over electronic models because of the simple, mechanical controls. That said, the timer no longer works. When you turn the control, the oven does switch on, but the timer no longer 'ticks'. Returning to the oven some minutes after turning it on and the timer button has not moved. We need to rely on an external timer.

A great little oven.
A great little oven, easy to use and keep clean. The sellers are recommended because they dealt with a problem so quick and efficiently. After only a short time the top element stopped working, got in touch with them, (really pleasing comunication between us), so to cut a story short, a replacement was promptly sent and everybody is happy!!
