great scrubber!
Edit: I bought these Aug 2022. Its now Feb 2024, and I'm buying a replacement set. These hold up really well! The main part that fails is the loop to hang the scrubber. You can just tie a new loop, or a big knot to catch on the hook and get a few more months out of them. I also tried using one as a bathroom scrubber with some barkeepers friend, and it fell apart fairly quickly, so I would stick to using soap and water for kitchen cleaning. Still love em, and buying more, so I would recommend them still! --- So, a few people left negative reviews due to the scrubbers smelling like gas. Well, thats easy to solve, and besides that these are PERFECT! they are made from hemp... and my assumption is that the hemp is processed with some petroleum product as a solvent to remove certain chemicals from the hemp. If you do a quick google search on how to remove a gas smell from clothes, you will find that a soak in white vinegar for an hour will remove the smell. This holds true for these scrubbers as well. Now, moving onto their effectiveness... these are the best kitchen scrubber i have used, and i have tried a lot of them! With normal washing tasks, these hold onto soap well and have an effective level of abrasiveness without scratching what your cleaning. The weave of the hemp is loose, so it almost feels as if you are using one of those chainmail scrubbers. I really like this because it means when you are done cleaning, its easy to pull on the edges of the scrubber to open up the weave, and wash out any stuck food particles quickly. A bit more of a niche review, I also cook with cast iron / seasoned high carbon steel pans, and wanted a scrubber that worked well on those. Well, this is the perfect one. In the past, I have always had to keep 2 different scrubbers out on my counter, one for soap & normal dishes, and another dedicated to the cast iron that never had soap on it. These wash out quickly and fully, so you can run some water over it and give it a few squeezes and theres no more soap residue in it. The abrasiveness is good enough that it will clean out a cast iron with some burnt on bits in a few wipes. If you use some warm water and a lot of elbow grease, these can slowly remove some of your seasoning, which imo is a good thing (you have to purposefully scrub that hard, but allows you to clean burnt on mistakes without needing to use soap, which would damage your seasoning layer much more). so yeah, all in all, 10/10. maybe like a 9/10 since you have to soak in vinegar when you first get them, but its worth the effort. You can also clean them in the dishwasher / washing machine, but so far they have held up so well and cleaned so easily that i haven't needed to do that!

Effective and ecofriendly
I bought these back in March 2023 as a plastic free alternative to scrubdaddy. After 2 years, we're down to 1 sponge (the other 2 have fallen apart). To be fair, I've put these in the dishwasher and washing machine / dryer weekly. Still, 3 sponges that have lasted over 2 years for $17? And I don't have to worry about sending microplastics down the drain at that. These are awesome in the kitchen, I use them mainly for scrubbing counter tops with dish soap and scrubbing the bits off our stainless-steel pans. For those who said they are impossibly small, that is not true - they actually expand when wet and do not smell at all like plastic after a while.

Good product cleans well with no scratches
I have bought this product twice. The quality first time was very good. Cleaned really well, dried quickly, held together and love how eco friendly it is. Second time around all 3 fell apart pretty quickly. I am hoping that was a bad lot and will give it one more chance.

It beats any rag or sponge you ever tried. Just try one!.
This is way better than a sponge and way better than a rag. I bought 3 to try. So far I am still using the 1st one months later. It isn't wearing out. It is a good scrubber. It rinses out completely clean. It doesn't have any smell after months. A regular rag or sponge would be gross by now! Also these are made in Ukraine. I was able to see where they were made when i purchased mine, but now amazon does have that info..

excellent
way way back in the day, i used to watch my grandmother knit dishrags, and she'd always bemoan the fact that she could no longer get hemp fiber in the US because it lasted so much longer and didn't turn sour like the cotton she was forced to use. it took a fair number of decades to revoke the efforts of dow and dupont to grow their cotton market by enlisting the aid of the us government to ban hemp growing... a fiber that was so historically significant people used to be able to pay their taxes with it.... ahhh capitalism. but i digress! you aren't here for a history lesson. these are awesome. everything my grandmother said they'd be. buy them. you wont regret it. they scrub pots and pans well without scratching them or even softer materials like plastic storage containers. after extensive use, they've yet to turn even the slightest bit sour or smelly. the only thing you might wish to invest in is an absorbent cloth. something like "if you care sponge cloths" because hemp is not an especially absorbent material it can be difficult to mop up wet areas on the counter if all you have is this scrubby sponge.

Pretty good
Good dish rag. Needs to be cleaned. The part you use to hang it is annoying. After a year of use they're ok. I've needed to throw away 2 of the 3 because they're falling apart. I guess that's pretty good, but I was hoping they'd last longer than this.

Wonderful
I actually really like these to wash my dishes over the loofah style dish sponges. They absorb my dish soap bar very well and rinse out and dry nicely. Definitely has a wet jute smell but not an issue for me. Soap lathers and retains very well imo with this sponge. Does not shed in any way for me so far. Between this and my dish brush I can tackle “hand wash only” dishes the way I need to. I’ve had it for over a month and it holds up like it’s brand new which says a lot as I used to have to replace my scrub daddy sponges every month since they would just fall apart after a while. All packaging was zero waste btw. Initially I told myself “Man these are pricey sponges especially since I could’ve knitted some myself!”. Alas, no. I’m not going to knit them myself and they work very well. I’m sticking with what’s available to me and with what works for my dishes and the environment.

Not Hemp
Was disapointed with the product. This is not hemp but some sinthetic fiber. I make my own dish sponges from real hemp and thought I would save time by buying them. Real hemp doesn't stink, this product after you get it wet, stinks like a week old garbage. Definitely not hemp.
