Impressed
I used a similar wedge during a recent PT visit. I fell in love with it because of how well it pinpoints the two long muscles on either side of my spine (they are like tight ropes - nothing can hit them just right). An added bonus is that it helps with posture too. I bought this item hoping it would work as well as what my PT has - it does! It’s a staple in my regular mobility work now. Super durable, not cheaply made at all!

Absolutely love it!
It is a very useful tool in hitting the spots in the muscles along the spine and at the base of the skull. Hard enough to put the pressure but has a slight give to make it feel still comfortable.

Works well for my home program
My PT recommended that I buy this wedge to use for my home program. It is similar to wedge #612 which I use at the PT clinic. Wedge 612 is rubber; wedge 611 (this one) is polyethylene and is a bit softer and lighter weight. It works well for my home program.

Exactly as advertised, learn from a pro before trying on your own though
Exactly as advertised. For other therapy professionals this is likely what you practiced with in school. For other people thinking about purchasing for home use, make sure you get clear instructions from a PT, physician or chiropractor first because if used improperly you can cause more pain or worsen an injured tissue.

Quality product
This item is great for some degree of self-adjustment.. There is actually a nice YouTube video (Google it) that has an experienced physical therapist show how to properly use this wedge. Some people have heard their spines crack as if getting a chiropractic adjustment - I did not. However, I did get some nice stretching out and it did loosen my back up in the areas I focused on. I do believe that this makes a nice addition to one's personal arsenal for physical therapy on your back. Be careful when you use it and look into that aforementioned video.

Great for the neck - recommended by my PT
Great quality, good to have on-hand for new parents with sore necks. I use it and I'm a new mom who has injured her lower back and neck while breastfeeding a voracious little one.
