AndisPet Vet Trim Animal Trimmer

My cat (kinda wild) did not mind the noise and allowed me to trim some hair.... without biting me.

I had this same trimmer for 4 years and it had started losing power so I replaced it with the same model since I was very happy with it when it was new. When I got the new trimmer I charged it according to directions, but it ran out of power before I had even finished trimming my minature poodle's face. Very annoying to have your dog all bathed and ready to groom and no power. The next time I had left it charging for several days and still could not complete the grooming. I kept thinking it must be how I was charging it and trying another strategy but now that I've concluded it's not me but a poorly made trimmer and I am stuck with it because "This item cannot be returned.Return Window expired" Since I still need a trimmer I will have to buy it elsewhere.

I would have given this 5 stars if the trimmer functioned like I thought it would. Maybe it is me and my lack of coordination, but this trimmer didn't shave like a vet's office does prior to surgery. But I still like it.

i bought this for my local animal shelter's surgery clinic. they use it to prep the pets for surgery. they love it. they've had it for many months and have never had any problems with it whatsoever. plenty of power. they've even used it to shave matted dogs a few times.

The power is terrible. I bought this to help trim up faces and feet. Not enough power to keep it running.

I got this product for my long haired guinea pig. If you follow the instructions prior to use, you get a good long charge. It is as described, and very gentle. The buzz wasn't too loud either, my savvy didn't mind it until it got near her bottom. This was a great find for us!

not so close neither so quiet, maybe for clean some injury area or sanitary trim but not for surgery prep

I have been grooming my cat's and dog's for 20+ years so I'm not a beginner. I decided to give this trimmer a try, big mistake. I'm very disappointed with this product. I followed the instructions for charging, yet the first time I used it the charge lasted less than stated in their advertisement. I have already returned it and will spend the extra to get a better product. Also, for anyone using this trimmer, the length is almost a surgical type cut. Have to really be careful
