This has great arrangements of classic pieces
Dont let the handrawn cover art discourage you. This has great arrangements of classic pieces. Perfect for the intermediate student. (Mid Bo3 and up) Suzuki level. Some pieces will be more advanced but this a general starting ability. I would give it 5 stars if the music notation was not hand rendered. Its not bad, but I prefer more typeset music notation.

so that you know what the song should sound like..
It was very helpful to be able to listen to the music that you're reading before you try to play It, so that you know what the song should sound like...

This is the piano accompaniment for the violin solos.
This is the piano accompaniment to the violin solos in "Fun with Solos," which is exactly what I needed. (The product description is a bit unclear on that front, but rest assured that this is the piano accompaniment, with the violin part written above for reference.

No Piano Acc Part
These are great pieces to add into around Suzuki Book 4 level, however, this book does not come with a piano accompaniment part. This surprised me. It could be my mistake for not reading the product information carefully, however, it is extremely common to include piano parts with repertoire books.

Teacher Review
This is a great book. To buy each of these staple pieces separately would cost much more. Just like the Suzuki books, the accompaniment book is sold separately, keeping the cost down for students who do not need the piano part. I personally teach this book after Suzuki Book 3 to give you an idea of the level. You must play in 3rd position for some of the songs.
