D-Lead Respirator and Laundry Detergent, 1 Gallon, 3235ES-001

Science backs how this works and it eases my mind. I now wash all my range day clothes with this detergent. I also use it on kids clothes for the first wash before wearing. I also got the d-lead hand soap and wipes. Really glad to have to reduce exposure to lead. Highly recommend if you are an avid shooter, work with/around lead or any heavy metals, or just concerned parent about clothes made in other countries.

When used as directed on the container, it work well and removes lead from my microfiber clothes used to clean my firearms. Dont need a lot either per load, means this gallon will last a while. Will buy again when I run low.

Glad to find a product to clean clothing after spending time at the range. Bubble gum smell is not noticeable. My biggest challenge is measuring how much to use. This product and its package are designed for an industrial setting where larger quatities of detergent are needed. (Instructions call for 1 oz per 10 lbs of clothing.) I found a pump to fit the jug that dispenses 1 oz per pump to get an approximation.

Use this to clean my clothes after coming home from the range. Baby in the house so doing what I can to keep lead exposure to a minimum. Direction is based on industrial use so you don't need much. Had an old bottle of microfiber detergent that can measure out 1/2oz to an oz which is perfect.

I'm a mechanic in a lead mine. Needless to say, my clothes are pretty saturated with the stuff. I usually make my own cocktail of dawn, tide, and decreased and it worked okay. Recently my kids came back with elevated lead levels, and the washer is the only point of cross contamination. So I bought this stuff, I was surprised at how well it actually cleans my clothes. It works better than any other detergent or combination of detergents I've used. I also use it in a tub clean cycle after I wash my work clothes and it works well for that too.

I purchased the D-Lead detergent after I discovered Chinese e-commerce sites like Shein tested positive for lead. I became so OCD about what my clothes and contaminated since I wore them (I was excited to try my first order on that I put it on after opening without washing). When my order was delivered, I received 12 air filters instead of the detergent. I reached out to the seller for a replacement. Mistakes happen and it's easy to damage during transit. I'm not sure if there is any lead on my clothes and what it came into contact with (I'm hoping not) but having this detergent resolved my anxiety some. I have sensitive skin so I'm using very little and then I'm rewashing my clothes in gentle detergent.
