Small, light...does what it's supposed to.
I bought this as a smaller alternative to my Eddie Bauer 20L stowaway pack as a packable backpack for travel and have no complaints. The straps are adequate but I wouldn't want to be carrying any more than about 5-10 pounds worth of stuff around for very long. It worked great as a park bag on a recent trip to Orlando, with plenty of room for a couple of rain jackets, power bank, sunscreen, souvenirs, etc. The exterior water bottle pockets are nice and deep and carried a 26oz Yeti with no problems. The real standout, though, is its packed size. It weighs nothing and wads up into its own attached pocket to about the size of a mini (7.5oz) soda can. You can stuff it into any nook or cranny in your luggage and have a very usable daypack when you get to your destination. Definitely recommend!

Lightwieght bag
It is a small, fairly well constructed, lightweight back. Not intended for extensive hiking but great as an add on in your carry on baggage to use for towels, groceries, etc.

Excellent for travel
I bought the 24L in teal for a trip to Puerto Rico. For the trip I took a carry-on suitcase and a large backpack for my laptop and other items. I got this packable backpack as it is small, would not take up room in my luggage, and would be better for day-tripping around the island and to beaches than the large, heavy-duty backpack. It worked out great! I was able to carry a change of clothes, hat, raincoat (on questionable days), towel, suntan lotion, and water bottle and everything fit with no effort. At the end of my trip I left it with a traveling companion who was traveling longer and who realized how useful (and packable) it would be.I love that it has two side pockets for water bottles (some of the other packable bags I looked at did not have pockets for water bottles). I also like the two zipper compartments - the main one and a smaller one on the front. The zippers are strong and smooth and the second compartment enabled me to keep smaller items separate and more easily accessible. As others have noted, the straps are thin, but as I was not carrying anything heavy I had no issue and found the bag comfortable to carry throughout the day. Since it is thin, light, and unstructured I would not carry something in it that needs cushioning, such as a laptop.I was pleasantly surprised at how great this packable backpack is and how useful it was on my trip. I travel often and will definitely carry it with me from now on.

Held up and holds a lot but doesn't open as far as expected
Bought this for a Caribbean Cruise. Looks exactly has shown, fun for tropical location. Straps are definitely cooler/lighter than my 20l Eddie Bauer Stowaway from 10+ years ago. I bought this for fun pattern and possibility of cooler straps. It can hold quite a bit. I fit my winter puffy jacket in it, with my iPad, charging cords, large water bottle when traveling back home. The two main issues I have with it and why I may not use on next trip are 1) The zippers don't unzip as far down the sides of the back. It was harder to access stuff than I was used to, especially if you are trying to reach while in a tight space, like a bus or plane seat. 2) The zippers held up, which I'm grateful for, but they are clearly of much cheaper quality than zippers on all my other light weight packs. I felt I had to be more careful zipping/unzipping the back so as not to catch the fabric.I think it's a fair price for what it is, I really did enjoy the tropical pattern and the super light weight material for hot temps.

Good quality, packs small, good zippers and pockets for your water bottle!
What a find this sweet backpack is. So great for travel that you can put it back it it’s bag and easy to pack. It’s waterproof and perfect for a day trip where you don’t want or need a full size backpack. Good sturdy zippers. Comes in fun colors. I can’t wait to use it!

Perfect small packable backpack for international travel.
Our family is taking an international trip and wanted a small, lightweight, packable backpack to have for day trips. This backpack is perfect for this type of use and also seems well made.

Great as Personal Item, for Disneyland & Universal!
I took this backpack as my personal item on a flight, and into Disneyland and Universal Studios. It was the perfect size and being nearly weightless was amazing. I packed 2 battery packs, sunscreen, wallet, makeup, stainless water bottle, and still had plenty of room left. Since we traveled in March, the weather was unpredictable, so we had to pack extra layers. I was able to pack 2 of my kids' puffy jackets in my backpack when needed. Now, I will say that when it is heavy, the straps aren't the most comfortable as there is zero padding, but that was to be expected. Another thing to note is that the front pocket is really deep, so I still had to dig for things as it was fairly large, so it wasn't as convenient as I thought it would be. After our trip, I threw the backpack in the washing machine, hung it up to dry (material looks like it shouldn't go through dryer), folded it up and stuffed it back into the little bag it came in, and put it away for our next trip. I highly recommend it!

Quality has changed
Bought the 16L pack in teal about a year ago and have been loving it!! 5 stars!! Packs easily, very comfortable to wear and fits surprisingly a lot with water bottles in the side pockets. So I ordered another one in silver this time, but I’m disappointed with the quality. Straps are thinner, zippers are harder and most importantly the side pockets are too low to hold my water bottles. I’d give 1-2 stars. It’s a real bummer and I will probably return this one.
