This product works very well. I simply will not take big Pharm drugs unless absolutely necessary (which is rare), but at times do need something for osteoarthritic pain. A healthy eating regimen has almost completely eliminated arthritic pain, but there are times when it does happen (after eating out or some kind of indulgence), so this is a wonderful alternative to ibuprofen. Since this should be taken 'one hour before a meal', I take it either during the night or first thing in the morning, and my day starts off pain free. I complement this with Inflammashield, which can be taken during the day with food.

I Love this product. Its been incorporated as part of my pain management regime to help my chronic pain due to inflammation & scar tissue build up from my neurological disorder called Cervical Dystonia aka Spasmodic Torticollis which is an involuntary movement that causes my head & neck to spasm all day. Of course it doesn't cure it but nothing does at this point I've been trying everything &Anything to help treat my condition & I have noticed improvement since using medizym back in June 2016 in combination of my BOTOX therapy.

The product almost looks just like Wobenzym N, and the product performs at least as well so far. I didn't realize how much I like having these supplements in my broken body until I ran out for a while. Very happy I searched and found a replacement. I don't think I will go back, and will probably order the 800 count next month!

UPDATE: After about 1.5 months of taking Medizym my wife had stomach pain. It wasn't bad the first time and went away in under an hour, but a week later it was unbearable and we had to go to the ER. The pain finally went away when they gave her a drink with antacids and numbing medications so they diagnosed it as an ulcer. I didn't really blame the Medizym at the time but my mom tried using it and ended up with stomach problems (not ulcers, just upset stomach) as well so now I'm very suspicious. Medizym contains Papain which is an enzyme for digesting meat and it seems possible that if you overload on Papain you may start digesting your stomach lining and cause an ulcer. I can't find any studies on the internet saying whether that's possible or not but my wife has never had an ulcer before and it hasn't come back after stopping Medizym, so it's something to watch out for. Her arthritis also hasn't gotten any worse being off Medizym for a few months so I'm now dubious that it helped with that - it's equally likely the SAM-e she started about the same time was what lead to the arthritis improvement. It's still possible Medizym healed some damage that may take a long time to return, so it may be worth trying for say a month to see if it heals anything, but longer than that may cause stomach problems.Original review:A doctor recommended enzyme therapy for my wife's arthritis. He was suggesting RPR/Inflammation Formula but I did a lot of research on all the various enzymes they can put in these products (there's at least 20) and this Medizym formula seemed more suited to arthritis than RPR. My wife noticed significant improvements within a week and after a month we're walking around again like we used to. Before this her arthritis was getting pretty bad and glucosamine was no longer helping.Unfortunately she started taking SAM-e about the same time as this product so we can't tell which one made the majority of the difference, or if it was a combination. Since SAM-e is also supposed to help arthritis within a week, it's possible all her pain reduction came from that instead of from Medizym, but more likely they both helped.I also chose Medizym because it does not contain Nattokinase enzyme. Nattokinase will thin your blood (prevent clots and increase bruising) which can generally be good, unless you're already on other medications that thin your blood, which my wife is. These have always worked well for me..not this time and from this supplier..I noticed the packaging was sealed like the bottle directly from Medizyme..The pills didn't seem to have the enteric ccoating as you could taste the pills before swallowing....many issues with these pills that I did not have with my previous bottle count of 800 shipped directly from Medizyme...have heard of knock off pills and essential oils being sold on Amazon..think this is one.
