This hand and footprint kit is a really cool set at an excellent price, with everything needed. The frame itself is good quality, with a nice weight to it without being too heavy, and the clay is just the right size for the holder once rolled out. The process is simple, knead the clay for three to five minutes until smooth, roll it out with the included roller, press your baby’s hand and foot in, and then let it dry/harden for three to four days. I really liked that it came with a set of block letters to imprint names, dates, or other details into the clay, and the letter holder makes it easy to press them all at once instead of individually, keeping them in line. The frame has two picture openings, which is a nice bonus, and it even came with a small paintbrush and paint for finishing touches (though it’s only one color instead of the multi-color shown in some images, but we weren't going to use that anyways so it wasn't a big deal, just be aware). All in all, it’s exactly what I was looking for, easy to use, functional, and a wonderful keepsake. Highly recommended!

We bought this kit for our newborn and used it on her first month. It had a very simple and clear instructions, and our baby messed up her fingerprint from acting fussy, but we still dried it since we had a lot of fun. Its the perfect size for our keepsake. We had a lot of laughs while doing this activity.

I’ve bought this for all three of my kids and love as a keepsake. Everything is good quality but takes a little practice to roll the clay out well. The photo size is not standard though so it was difficult to get pictures to match up.

The frame/back: I love that this frame is a solid piece of wood (the part that holds the clay and pics). It makes moving it, after the impression has been made, easier, and I'm not worried about cracks showing up because of movement. The area that holds the clay is fairly deep and you get enough clay to fill it all nicely. It all feels very sturdy and high-quality. The front is actual glass, not a cheap plastic. The clay: I bought two and it seems like the clay was different. The first one had a whiter clay, felt a little bit dry but was workable. It dried with some wrinkles, but most of those wrinkles showed up when I did the impression (makes sense, the clay had to move somewhere) and just didn't smooth them out. The second time I bought this, the clay was a lot smoother and oilier. It dried a lot smoother as well, but I had also smoothed out the wrinkles that showed up after doing the impressions. This 2nd clay was off-white. I have to say I prefer the second clay much better, but both were good (I just needed to learn to smooth it out). The tools: The dowel that serves as a rolling pin is nearly the exact width of the frame that holds the clay, so it's easy to smooth out the clay without getting unsightly lines down the sides of your imprint (I bought a competitor's product and their dowel was about an inch and a half too short and created lines everytime I used it.. not good). The paint was the only low point, it came in a tiny container and was completely dry. Overall, I recommend this product. I had to put my pup to sleep (she was 15 years old, but still a pup to me), so I wanted to have something like this before she went "home" to rest. I'm glad I gave this item a try for a good keepsake with her paws on it. I bought a cheaper product that was very similar in function (an area for a print in clay, and two spaces for pictures), but the quality was abysmal. I can't make another one of these with my little dog, so the extra money to get the good frame that would last and be worthy of my amazing friend was well worth it.

Excellent product that is well made. It feels sturdy and definitely made to preserve your memory. It comes with a sturdy frame, roller and clay, a bit of bronze paint, a tiny paintbrush and different internal framing colour options. The instructions could be slightly better. Recommendation: do the prints while the baby is asleep, our baby instinctively clenched his fists when we tried to position his hands over the clay. We did not get the imprint we wanted and the clay dried as a result. Also, be sure that the text positioning is not close to the edges, the internal frame will cover it. We notified the seller, who sent a replacement without any fuss within 2 days - hence the 5 stars. Great product and great seller who is evidently serious about customer satisfaction.
