Bright and Durable
A great and sturdy flashlight like all Coast products. All aluminum case and a very bright beam running on only 2 AA batteries. The compact size is perfect for keeping nearby in the pencil cup. A penlight with AAA would be smaller but not as bright, I don't think.

Fabulous - strong beam flashlight
excellent product - such a strong light beam in a small flashlight - just the thing to have in your glove box or night stand (I put them in Christmas stockings)

Very bright.
This a good flashlight, very bright. I use it a lot at work.

Actually bright.
I paid next to nothing, and the 415 lumens sounds about right, suprisingly bright for its size, minimalist, keep in your pocket, glovebox, dirt cheap, works, buy one. Spare. Batteries only. Focus is useless.

Great for the Price
I am a heavy equipment mechanic and this thing is continually running about the entire day. It has excellent brightness for inspections (bright enough to see fine details but won't blind you and wash out said fine details), the beam is very comparable to a streamlight stinger. This also has a bullseye beam pattern, which I personally really like. Build quality is great, good machining, Very resilient, this thing is water resistant at the least. I have dropped this into every liquid imaginable and it excellent. The size is also ideal, I can keep it in my mouth for when I need both hands on a dark job, and it fits great it that little pants pocket on the right side of your work pants. Switch is also very quality, has two modes (bright and very bright) but its not annoying to change between the two, also allows you to "beam" an object for a quick look without fully clicking it on. The only thing that is slightly an inconvenient about this flashlight is battery life. I change the batteries once a day using cheapo free harbor freight AA's (you know which ones I'm talking about ya cheap bums). Given these are terrible batteries and I work ten hour days, thats actually not too bad. Although lithium batteries could be a investment.

Bright torchlight for photography light painting
Photography light painting is an art form that demands precision, control, and a reliable light source. In my pursuit of creating mesmerizing light-painted masterpieces, I stumbled upon the Coast G26 415 Lumen Bulls-Eye Flashlight on Amazon, and it has since become an indispensable tool in my photography arsenal. Photography often takes me to various locations, and my gear needs to withstand the elements. The CoastG26 is built to last, with a rugged aluminum casing that can handle the wear and tear of outdoor shoots. It's also weather-resistant, which gives me peace of mind when I'm working in less-than-ideal conditions. When I'm in the midst of a light-painting session, the last thing I want is for my flashlight to die prematurely. The G26's efficient energy management ensures a long battery life, allowing me to focus on my art without constant interruptions to change batteries. The Coast G26 Flashlight is a game changer for artists like me who demand reliability, control, and exceptional light output. It has elevated my light-painting to new heights, allowing me to bring my visions to life with clarity and precision. If you're a photographer looking to take your light painting to the next level, I wholeheartedly recommend the Coast G26. It's a shining example of excellence in the world of flashlight tools for photography.

Works well not a gadget just a flashlight.

Great light but a suggestion or two also
I got this one mainly as a secondary carry for duty (security), but also use at home for night dog walks and the like. The tactical on/off switch is very easy and convenient to use, as is the cycling from high to low. I like also that this light does not have the annoying strobe "option" which is so common on others and IMO only has limited applications at best. As of this writing I have been using only the conventional AA batteries which COAST supplies with the light, since as I said it's my secondary (primary is Streamlight Polytac X, also purchased on Amazon), but it is good to know that going to rechargeable is an option. I would have liked to have had an adjustable beam of the kind which is used by simply sliding the head back and forth, and also have a holster included. Would I buy again? You bet!
