Works well
This J arm works fine with my PVS14, it is plastic but I would rather have the J arm snap then my helmet mount or heaven forbid, my NVG's. It came with two mounting screws for different threads, so I am covered in that aspect, I haven't had any problems with it so far and I'm will be buying another one just in case mine does break. (walking in the woods without training is taking some getting used to, so better safe than sorry)

It’s good
Was a bit nervous buying this but it works great. Reasonably sturdy.

It's OK
OK so this adapter does work. I think it is important to write things like that. It is designed for right eye dominant. I am using a Sightmark NVD and it connects to that and that connection is pretty tight. Since I also have a Sightmark already mounted on my rifle at night I would be happier if I could use this for my left eye so I wouldn't have to raise it up if I want to use the rifle. I can't see a way to do that unfortunately. The connection of the adapter to the sight is nice and tight. The connection of the Adapter to the helmet mount isn't that tight and there is some (small/minor) wiggle room there. So I'm pretty sure that is too much for some people. I am sure it will be annoying if I have to move a lot while wearing it. I do find you get what you pay for and for my budget this will work for me. It isn't perfect but it will work.

Will not withstand any impact. Does not fit standard NODs
Bought these because they were inexpensive and needed a few for a school. I did NOT expect it to snap in half the first time I ran into a tree branch with my NODs down. The screw can be screwed about 1/4 way into standard NODs before needed a pair of pliers to tighten it anymore. When attempting to tighten the screw down on my SECOND one, the screw sheared off inside of the NODs, rendering them useless. Several others with the same product found better success simply taping their NODs to this mount, or else they were left with the NODs dangling around, smacking them in the face. Only buy this product to check a block on a packing list, not with the intent to use.

I must be lucky
This j-arm fits my PVS-14 just fine using the included larger set screw. It locks in just fine with the suggested helmet mount. The complete mourn locks in just fine with my tactical helmet.

Very cheaply made DO NOT BUY
I used this with my nightstar monocular and it sags under the pressure. The plastic is that cheap stuff that may not be blow moulded but it’s very low quality. It also had to be sanded down as the mould lines were not flush.

Good buy
Fits perfectly with my sightmark mounted directly to my rhino mount no complaints

Screw is not the standard 1/4"-20.
Screw is not the standard 1/4"-20 that attaches to the NVG. Still waiting the helmet mount to arrive to see if it works with the J-arm.
