Great units. Tried two other brands, and all failed. I have a 150-foot CAT7 shielded cabled carrying just 1920p, but they all failed where this one succeeded. Solid performance at 1080p. Have not tried or needed higher.

It works great but it seems that the provided USB ports only function for keyboard and mouse. I have been unable to get a controller working. So I would not recommend this for gaming. But otherwise it detects the display just like any other monitor and it's wonderful for that.

I originally bought the EX-230PRO-KVM but it was not able to push true 4K to my Asus ROG Swift PG43UQ. I returned it and got this one and it works great! Highly recommended.

NVIDIA Shield cancelled Game Stream (SCREW THEM!) Bought this, HDMI cables and CAT6 cable to replace it. Works better than NVIDIA Shield; no waiting for updates, loading, no signal degradation, time limits or software issues. Turn on computer, TV and AVR and it's ready to go. Music, movies, gaming consoles and now PC from the comfort of the couch.Used second GPU HDMI port, cloned monitor output to TV and Wireless XBOX controller dongle in PC USB port. Mouse and Keyboard wireless dongles in the OREI receiver box.

The USB ports don't work with every USB device. I have a USB Bluetooth dongle and it is not recognized by my computer. The picture is fine, but the USB connectivity is laggy with connected devices or it doesn't connect them to the PC.

Wanted to keep computer in network closet but control from my office. This helped accomplished that.

These HDMI extenders are life savers in reducing the amount of desk clutter I have with all the cables that need to operate simultaneously. By using this extender, my HDMI signals are transmitted seamlessly over an ethernet connection and I have not experienced any lag or misconnection so far. This device is small and compact and is perfect for hiding in storage or under a desk. Because it is lightweight, I have been able to tape it to the underside of my desk and flow cords along the desktop so they aren’t as visible. Other HDMI extenders are rather bulky and heavy and don’t allow themselves to be this discrete. Additionally, this is one of the first HDMI extenders to transmit signals over ethernet in which I’ve not had a dropped signal or lag time. I use this primarily for gaming on my computer monitor which is mounted on my wall; because I like a cordless look, this extender came in handy. The signal is extremely strong and the video quality is amazing. The movement and animation have integrity and the picture quality is also bright and vibrant.The only thing I don’t love about this HDMI extender is that it comes with confusing directions. This is one of those nifty devices that everyone should have in their home office, but it is not intuitive to set up. Not only do you need to configure the cords in a specific way, but you also need to operate them and download files on your computer. The directions are limited in that they don’t have chronological steps nor do they have pictures. This isn’t for amateurs.As far as functionality goes, this is an amazing HDMI extender. However, if you need help setting it up, you’ll have to look to online forums or videos.

What a nice feature to have with being able to extend the USB. We can use the mouse, even though being on the other side of the building. Great device!
