Love this Gate !! 💖 Protects my CH kitten!
I've purchased 3 of the 36" tall gates so far, plus two 2-panel extensions. One 4-panel gate (with door) to keep my handicapped kitten away from the top of my steps (which is a weird angle that a traditional gate won't work for), and 2 more (4-panel w/door) gates that I connected to contain my foster kittens to half of the bedroom (shown in photo). I removed one panel from each unit, then connected the units together to form a huge 6-panel gate with 2 doors. Seems plenty sturdy. Seems stable. I like that I can add or remove panels if needed. Overall, it's a beautiful gate that seems like it will last quite a while. If I need pet gates in the future, I will definitely purchase this gate again. The gates are well-packaged to prevent damage in transit. The lock mechanism works easily and beautifully. I don't have any dislikes about the gate. If that changes, I will update this review.UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2024 --- I have used these gates for so many things!! I have reconfigured them to fit different areas of my house as needed. They have held up great! I still have no complaints!! These are awesome gates and can be customized so easily for your needs. I love that the hinges allow the door to swing either direction. I have one panel tucked between the wall & the back of my dresser, which stabilizes the gate perfectly. Yes they're a little pricey... but I did LOTS of research before buying a pet gate, and I can tell you this brand is one of the best deals out there. If i ever need additional pet gates, I will absolutely buy this same exact gate again!!I added photos of how I attatched the gate to the wall ((without their $50 hardware kit))!! I screwed a generic $2 corner bracket to my wall and zip-tied the gate to the bracket (I didnt want to drill holes in my gate). Works like a charm. I can easily remove the gate by cutting the zip-tie. It may not work for everyone, but it works for my house!! Keeps my handicapped kitten safe!!!UPDATE: 2025 -- I have used these gates many times, in different locations and layouts. I use them mostly to keep a "safe area" for my handicapped cat (she cannot be unsupervised with full access to the house). I have added photos of my handicapped cat setup; i essentially block off half the bedroom for her. The bathroom door and my a/c unit are also blocked with a gate, to keep my girl out in the main room. (She's only in this "safe area" when I cant supervise her; otherwise, she roams free). She pulls on the bottom of the door, and im not thrilled with how far it shifts - it's possible she could escape by pulling on the door of the gate, so I added a wide velcro strap to the bottom of the door.

A lot to like about this!
What I like:1) I have an odd space (see pics) I need to block and this works well in it, both in terms of flexibility with not having a wall on one side to work with and in terms of the odd angle in that space.2) LOVE the pass-through gate! Bonus: it DOES move both ways (contrary to a Q&A I read). See pics where I show it swinging both ways.3) The pass-through gate isn't spring-loaded so it stays in whatever position I put it.4) The pass-through gate does "lock" but it doesn't force lock it, so I can give the appearance to my dogs that it's locked but still easily open and shut it. (The way I position it, my dogs would have to pull it open to pass through it and they're not that smart!)5) It looks nice and it matches my mahogany furniture.6) It has rubber feet so it does not scratch the floor.7) I can easily re-position the 2 panels closest to my staircase so either just one room is blocked off (my living room) or two rooms are blocked off (the living room and the family room). This is a high traffic area so having the ability to easily do this without having to prop against furniture or resize the gate is really a life-saver (this was a super annoying issue with a traditional gate that is designed to fit between 2 walls I previously used in that area.)7b) The hinges allow for the panels to be moved in either direction, which makes it so flexible to use. Didn't expect that but love it.8) The slats are really narrow so my small dogs cannot get through.9) It's big enough for a large gap such as mine (about 4ft) but can also be configured to fit in smaller areas or even larger areas than mine, should I need that flexibility in different areas of my house.10) It was fully-assembled right out of the box.11) It's quiet. Traditional gates are loud when locking/unlocking/resizing/moving.12) It's remarkably stable, even when each panel is not "angled." The only position I'd say isn't stable is if you had the whole thing in one straight line.13) It folds up nicely in case I want to put it away or transport it somewhere.14) The locking mechanism is simple and doesn't look like it'll break down over time (vs. another brand I considered where people were reporting the button broke off over time and they couldn't lock it anymore.)15) It arrived in 2 1/2 days with normal shipping!!! Far exceeded expectations! What I don't like:Mine cost $100 and with all baby/dog gates, I feel like it's overpriced. But that's what the market allows (they know we spare no expense for our kids and fur babies) so I accept it. On the bright side, it was way more affordable than comparable styles I found when researching these.I also wished they offered it in white just because I think the dark wood may lend itself to feeling a little cluttered and I think the white would be more "invisible," plus I have white traditional gates elsewhere in the house. However, this is a classy looking gate so I really can't complain.Oh, one minor thing, the pass-through gate rubs against the panel next to it just a little when I shut it all the way. I don't know if my floor is unlevel or somehow the gate itself is unlevel. I don't shut it all the way 99% of the time, so not a big issue. When I do, I have to "lift" it a smidge to shut it.Very happy with this purchase!!
