111MedCo 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne 4oz. Medicated Soap Bar

This stuff changed the game for me and my teen daughter. She had acne on her back and shoulders and I had hormonal acne along my jaw line for years. We started using this soap and within a week it started clearing for both of us. We use it in the shower after washing with our normal soap/body wash. Let it sit for at least a minute. It also kills bacteria associated with body odor. We hardly need to use deodorant now and only use it on days we haven’t showered with this soap. I will purchase this again and again. It’s a household staple for us. It will bleach fabric though so use with caution in that regard.

Cheaper than Panoxyl and works better. I use this for my Hidradenitis and when using it frequently, like 5 times a week, I noticed that I no longer suffer from it. Great for acne as well! My skin comes out smooth and soft. One thing that differs from this and Panoxyl is the smell. It's less "fragrancy". Recommend subscribing to this if you have skin issues.

I love this soap. I had been using Panoxyl but they either discontinued the 10% bar or my area seems to only offer the 5% bar (if they offer the bar at all) and the 10% cream face wash - which was difficult to find - the 5% was easier. Buying Panoxyl over the internet over a generic brand is ridiculous given the vastly differing prices. Took me a while to find this one and I'm so glad I did. Really great at killing bacteria, foams pretty well for a bar, cleans quite well - if you're not careful it could dry your skin out. I would not recommend using it every day - especially if you have sensitive or dry skin. It will definitely dry your skin out if you use it every day. The most I use it is every other day (a lot of the time I use it in conjunction with a less drying soap). I don't necessarily use it all over the body (though I often do). I recommend using it in your armpits, feet, behind the knees, your back, butt and potentially your face. I apply the soap and let it sit at least a minute - preferably like 5 minutes. That way it can really do what it says on the tin. If you apply and just rinse off immediately it doesn't really have a chance to activate and do the good stuff. I have even found that just using this in my arm pits makes it so I don't have to use antiperspirant or deodorant. And it lasts a decent amount of time per the cost and size of the bar.

This was a decent product. Went through it pretty fast. About the same as other brands you buy in the store. Price was also good as I got it on sale.

OK, I want to preface that this definitely works! I have skin of steel and struggle with acne because of TRT. So as well as using my .1Trent (highest dose), with spironolactone, I decided as a last resort let’s try this bar. The results were extremely fast. It was drying out my acne within the first day, so I was continuing to use it twice a day.! I had no irritation to my face as I mentioned my skin is very resilient… but I was not prepared for side effects. Please use with caution if you notice that you wake up feeling hung over and nauseous that is a side effect of benzyl peroxide and too high of a dose. I will lower the use to see if that subsides but I might have to discontinue using it. If you wake up feeling sick with a migraine and nauseous, it is because of the bar. That came around day three or four using it twice a day. I’m kind of bummed that the side effects were a thing that I was not aware of until I googled it when I woke up confused feeling really sick and nothing in my routine has changed by adding that bar so just be aware and discontinue use or lower the use of it if needed!

I love this soap. It leaves you feeling clean but not dried out! It does have a sterile/hospital smell but the smell doesn't stick to you!

Cleared my skin in about 10 days. I use a plastic shower puff because it will discolor fabric. Wash it off your body well.

It’s really strong soap but at the same time it didn’t strip your skin off! Smells exactly like a normal dove soap! Better than panoxyl cleanser! it gave me a better results!

Arrived on time, well packaged, expiry date with in reasonable time frame. Product is very good for my skin.

First time user, slowly decreasing my bacne

Noticeable difference in bacne control but this bar dissolved really quick; much faster than the average bar of soap of a similar mass. It works but at this price it's an expensive treatment.

I haven't tried it, but I'll probably wont use it. Not only the bag use to deliver the item is already open, one of the soap is open. But the worst part is, the soap shows a Jan. 2025 expiry date!
