Finally a sturdy french fry cutter at an affordable price!
The moment I opened the package I was impressed by the build quality of this fry cutter. Solid body, plenty of leverage to run the potato through the blades and easy to change the blade size. I am a big fan of french fries and I got sick of the plastic body, bending blades and weak cutters. With this one cutting is effortless, it's easy to clean and the blades don't bend. (Also they are very sharp, potato runs through very easy) Definitely recommend!

Quick and easy to use
My wife was a bit skeptical but this thing really works. It sliced through Russet potatoes without much effort. Lever is solid and easy to use. The cutter piece is easy to remove to clean and easy to insert back in with the screw. The only drawback (for me at least) is the suction cup. It didn't seem to adhere well to our countertop. I had to hold the slicer while cutting the potatoes so it didn't slip on the counter. But not a huge deal. Highly recommend this product regardless.

Fast, easy to clean and fries look professionally cut. YAY!
It worked beautifully. Yes it does sweet potatoes and yams even though instructions say it doesn't. Microwaved sweet potatoes from 3-5 min. And it worked. It was easy as it claims. I would recommend it.

Worthless — upgraded to pretty good
Update —. After researching other brands and watching lots of videos, I’ve decided to keep this cutter. It’s not perfect and the suction cup is a joke, but if you respect it’s limitations it does a good job. First off, you need to make sure your spud aren’t to wide or tall and are centered with the cutting grid. If they exceed toy cutter grid by even a small amount, you’ll never be able to force it through. Also, even though the unit will accept longer potatoes, it shouldn’t and is a bone to pick with the manufacture. If the spud is too long, the mechanics will not allow you get enough leverage to punch it through. With nothing in the unit, being the handle fully forward then back it off until the handle is just short of perpendicular. That is the largest potato you should try to cut. If you watch videos of other brands, you see that when fully retracted, the handles are just short of perpendicular.Suction cut is a HUGE joke. Handle leverage is off, it is vertical when you need to apply maximum force. Only good for potatoes 2 or 3 inches long.

Mediocre Parts, but it'll Cut a Potato
This arrives in a generic "Fry Cutter" box with no brand associated with it. That's fine. The "suction cup" included with the product is a flat silicone disc that adheres to nothing. I'm not sure if it's just poorly-molded, or something's happened to it, but it's worthless. Considering the force needed to send a small Russet through the machine while it's sliding underfoot, you'll want to mod it out with your own.I've also spent over an hour attepting to swap out for the smaller "push plate". The bade is very easy to swap out, but the directions for changing the push plate are vague. Nevertheless, I'm mechanical enough to be able to figure out how the hooks go in. Still, even with a flathead screwdrive for ballast the thing doesn't budge. Another molding error, or simply shoddy craftsmanship? So I have been forced to use the larger blade, which, yes, cuts a potato slightly faster than I can with a knife. I can't honestly recommend this product, though.

I Love "Chips"---as the British call French Fries
I have no dislikes with this very useful tool. It cuts potatoes into chips quickly and efficiently. It cuts chips---French Fries---in such a way that they come out of the oil fryer just like restaurant fryers only fresher. You can cook your fried foods in an air fryer; but, I personally find air fryers to turn fried food an unappetizing black.

Very disappointed
I hate this fry cutter. I didn’t like anything about the product other than it’s size. It’s not sturdy at all. The back suction does not work, and doesn’t stay in place to effectively use. AND, it’s so hard to use. My husband and myself BOTH had to push on it for it to slice the potato. I’m returning!!!! Disappointed😒

Love it!!!
Love love love this! Makes great french fries, but it also cuts cucumbers perfectly to dip into ranch like french fries. When you cut your vegetables like french fries, most kids will eat them. It’s durable, and super sharp so it slides right through the vegetable. Also, This one has plenty of room for a potato, so you get nice long french fries. (I had to return a different one earlier, because the space was so small I had to cut up the potatoes to put it on there, which defeats the purpose)Easy to clean.
