AllerEase Organic Cotton Pillow Protectors, Standard/Queen, Beige Cream/White 2 Count

These are excellent except for a few things. They have small, zippers that can easily get stuck. Also, they were a little tight on some pillows. The length was good but the width was a little small. The Organic cotton is good so I would recommend them unless you have very fat pillows.

Just received my 2 packs and they are great. They fit my “standard/queen” pillows perfectly. By the way, “standard/queen” doesn’t mean they fit both standard (20x26) and queen (20x30) pillows, it means they fit “standard/queen” (20x28) pillows. And yes, they arrived with little black specks but these are totally normal in organic, unbleached cotton (not mold, not gross; normally present in cotton). I would say about 1/3 washed out in the first wash. Finally, some people complained about the softness of the fabric. I find they were relatively soft after the first wash (not crunchy or rough) but it's not that important as these are pillow “protectors” and should be used as “buffer” under your pillowcase. I took away one star because of the non-eco-friendly double packaging.

The seam doesn’t have the integrity I hoped and it ripped a little shortly after I received them.

Good quality fabricWhen using with very fluffy pillow, it is a bit difficult to get the pillow through the opening. The seam at the zippered end goes around the corner for about 3/4", but after a couple months the stitching has popped from the zipper to the corner on both of ours. Thankfully the zipper is long enough to still zip it all the way to the corner, so the pillow is still fully encased with no gap, but I will need to make sure the rest of the seam does not start loosening.

I’ve purchased these before although at Target which no longer carries them. They have held up well and I expect these will too. Marked down for being packaged in vinyl, individually, then wrapped in plastic. Really, AllerrEase? An organic cotton anything should be packaged in something more eco-friendly than plastic. I think the vinyl also is to blame for the smell people are complaining about.

I've only just received mine, but wanted to counter other bad reviews. I am sensitive to smells and this does not have a strong chemical smell. However, if I put it up to my nose, I smell the plastic from the package it comes in. I expect it will come out in the wash. The black specks seem completely normal for a natural fiber. I do not see any hair. It is not the softest ever, but would not describe it as crunchy or rough at all. Should get softer with washing. It is not a YKK zipper, so it may not last forever, but for half the price of the other organic option on Amazon, this seems just fine! I like the natural color, but I will be using another pillowcase over this anyway.I did only recieve ONE when I ordered the TWO PACK. I immediately chatted Amazon and they refunded the whole cost of the two pack, so I basically got one pillowcase for free which was all I needed anyway!

They feel clean, natural, simple. Nothing fancy. 100% cotton, no synthetics!

nice construction, NOT a queen case, a bit larger than standard, but at least that way the pillow isn't stuffed like a sausage into the cover, allowing some movement with the pillow. If you have queen or king pillows get the KING case. I am happy with these overall. I did not notice smell as some others have mentioned,and I am pretty sensitive to chemicals. I have a complete organic bed from the mattress on so highly obvious if something has chemicals of any kind the moment I come in contact with them. TINY zipper, but closes/opens well. I actually used one for a cover as I made one goose down pillow into two as it was just too fat. I filled one cover with down, zipped closed and put the zipper end down in the second cover. This way if there happens to be a problem I don't have feathers all over the place, I will notice when I unzip the top case. Keeps the feathers in nicely, they don't escape through the fabric as they often do in other coverings.

Buyer beware, these are NOT returnable.The description claims they fit standard/queen pillows.A Queen pillow which I purchased these for are typically 30 x 20 inches. Standard 26 x 20 inches.These measured 26.5 x 17.5 inches. Not even a Standard pillow would fit without some physical prowess to squash them in.These are NOT soft as some reviews stated. Perhaps the product has changed since then, who knows. They're stiff and crinkly.Thank you Amazon for refunding the cost, despite these being non-refundable!

Ya van varía veces que compro este protector de almohada y muy probablemente seguiré comprándolos. El precio y la calidad son muy buenos. La funda es un poco rígida pero muy durable y con la primera lavada se suavizó, así que no he tenido problema. La entrega es rápida, normalmente antes de lo esperado. El cierre es discreto y no se siente al usar la almohada, lo que es uno de los detalles que me molestan mucho en otros productos similares. Definitivamente lo seguiré comprando y recomendando.

Using this product as a layer of protection against a foam pillow. It eliminated some of the heat of the memory foam pillow and created a cooler sleeping surface... Gives me peace of mind knowing it acts as a bit of a barrier to the chemicals in my pillow. It has a crunchy crisp sound/feel (unlike silk) which I like in bedding. It fits standard pillows well, even after some shrinkage in the wash.

Il n'y a qu'une seule taie d'oreiller dans le paquet. Prévoir la commande x 2 pour l'ensemble. Ça ne semble pas imperméable mais au moins ça semble naturel. C'est ce qui m'importait le +. Un produit non traité. La Queen est assez grande.

Son muy frescas pero hacen mucho ruido que no puedes dormir. Rjj Rjj. Cómo si durmieras en un cartón fresco.
