Small but substantial
It is an ideal addition to a gunsmith’s toolbox. It is essential for repairing and refurbishing a buggered slotted screw head.

Super oily packaging, but it works
It came dripping oils and was kind of a nightmare to unbox, but once I cleaned it off it worked as expected. I’m imagining this is for rust prohibition but man lots of metal goods come with a light coating not dripping wet. So beyond that it’s exactly what you’d expect for a cheap handy little block of metal.

Handy
Very hand little gadget. I can make my own flat head pins for jewelry making. Another addition to my tool set that makes jewelry making easier and fun!

Not too bad.
It's almost perfect. I just need to file the edges down to chamfer them. Once I did that it is much nicer to handle.

Not the best
I gave it 3-stars only because of the low price. The anvil came with rough edges that took me a while to file smooth. Like I say for the price it is worth buying, but next time I would rather spend more money on better quality.

Close to what is pictured
It's ok for the $12 that it costs. Mine came 5/8" thick, rather than the 7/8" thick indicated. It measures 1-13/16" across if you wanted to know. The holes are slightly different than pictured, mine has 2- 1/4" holes. 2- 3/16" holes, 3- 1/8" holes and 8- 1/16" holes. All holes go all of the way through. The edge slots on mine aren't as deep as shown in the picture, mine being 1/8" deep at the top, tapering to zero. Had to file the edges since they were left sharp from the surface grinder that appeared to have been used on the surfaces, but not a problem.

Misaligned holes look shoddy, caked in gummy resin/oil
Arrived in a cellophane wrapper caked in gummy resin/oil. I expect milled steel to be coated in oil to prevent rust, but it took me hours to get it clean enough to be comfortable using it with any of my delicate watch parts. The holes are not milled in a straight line, making it look like whoever did this was drunk. Sure, the holes work fine, but it aggravates my OCD to see the circles poorly aligned.
